  1. I have wide feet, rain last is barely wide enough for me in my correct length. I can feel my pinky toe through the leather if I touch the sides
  2. I have Oscar last in half a size bigger (sized up as I thought it was normal width) and the toe box seems wider than rain last imo. I think Rain last tapers more aggressively at the toe.

Agree with this completely. I measure a 6.5 E US, and I took a 5.5 UK Rain, as it's always been described as a generous fitting last, but it was just too tight up front.

I had to size UP for the Grain jumper on the 363 MOD. Don´t know if that one was misslabeled, but it was crushing my feet from all directions.

  2. 363 MOD last is roomier than rain last for sure

  4. Quick pic so pardon the quality - Rain last on left side of pic, 363 MOD on right side of pic.
Are those in the same sizing? The Bonafe boots look at least a half size bigger in that pic.

Please guys, a visual comparison is really not a great way to gauge shoe size. The eye is easily fooled. Even to measure a pair of shoes or feet correctly with a tape is something that's hard to do if you're not a professional shoemaker.

Yes, they are both in the same size. It was a quick pic so I didn't align them with great care.

I just came back from a 2 week holiday so I'm in a good mood. Bonus pic for you. I tried to align it to the line of the tile but as leaves mentions, it is not a great way to compare. I think it is clearer in this pic that the 363 MOD is roomier.

Hey peeps I seem to remember there was a interested for this boot on 946 last from Bonafe. Has this ever moved on to GMTO? I would be interested in single color either Claret or Plum museum calf?

@Skoaktiebolaget Guys what is the difference between Claret museum and Plum musuem calf?

@RogerP are you still looking for boots in burgundy shade?
Claret has more reddish brown undertones while Plum has more purple undertones. The latter is also slightly darker overall.

Why do you not like the GG06?

I enjoy the other GG lasts more, they are part of the reason i love GG shoes. IMO the GG06 is GG's more conservative offering, which is just not what i'm looking for in a pair of GG's...

Might also look great in the new Aubergine calf used on the Jodhpur. I think Claret is gorgeous; I have the austerity brogue.

Might be game for the Norvegese boot.

I think @Leaves is still waiting for a quote from GG to give us an estimate on what a GMTO for this kind of make-up would be...

This last delivery required a signature, but I wasn't home.

Here's hoping my wife is able to pick it up tomorrow or I'm going to have to wait until Wednesday.
