+1. Very glad it did. But I have a feeling the regular size would likely have worked as well.

The problem with the hand finished grain was that a) it was very time consuming to do in the factory and b) it came out differently for each batch, which was not ideal for us.

hmmm...a) I get

b)not sure I get this and how diff in each batch was not ideal? Each batch as in from one order of 25prs to the next? Or within the 25prs you would get 10 of 1 shade and then another 15prs in another? OR worse within the same pr:eek:. Guessing if Carmina had 1 person/batch could minimize occurrence but as working with a natural material and variances in application processes and such differences would be expected to a degree.

In between the lines I read this was the last hand-burnished and -grained Jumper ever. So we got a limited edition run with no restock. Yay!

We can always see how those that have received their prs to gauge their awesomeness. From the pics so far, they look to be very nice, and what available pics, show them to be at very least uniform enough.

Any hints as to what they are?  I've hopefully sold my brown grain jumpers (unfortunately because they are awesome), and want another pair.  Anything in a size uk5.5 in the bunch?

Speaking about EB, those MTO austerity boots in llama calf posted over at IG are outstanding. If anybody else is interested to do an MTO of the old stock version with the green suede shaft but with reh llama calf uppers instead of the brown calfskin, and with norvegese welt then let me know. I know boot season is over, but there's always next fall.

Those boots are mine (unless someone else had the exact same idea!) I hadn't seen the post on Instagram so thanks for pointing me in that direction... makes the wait for FedEx more agonising now!

The Carmina grain jumpers have landed.  First impression - they r osm. The dark stitching in combination with the grain texture really gives these boots a sense of dimension that photos (including mine) don't really capture.

Now I need some fit / pairing recommendations from you good peeps as I plan to rock these right through the summer.

Bumping an earlier question:

For those who wear Forest/Rain in same size and Simpson 0.5 up, how does the Oscar and Soller compare for fit in same size as Forest/Rain?

^I take the same size in Oscar, soller and rain.  I size up .5 to simpson

New grain jumper?  Hatch? Or just a darker color?  The hatch grain jumper's I have seen were beautiful.
