Isn't that a tad harsh? Under dress pants, the alligator leather would be far less loud compared to, say, pink socks. That leaves a beautifully elongated toe with a monogram that just isn't going to be loud unless you take off the shoe and stick it six inches in front of someone's face.

Beautifully unique for a black oxford where it's hard to get creative, IMHO.

Concealing the parts from public view does not mitigate any inherent notions of tackiness.
