Price sound good,
sound like Santoni norvegese for man on budget.

What quality of leather like?
Do norvegese have hand carved feather and true hand inseaming?
Cork under insole or felt or something else?
Hand stacked heels?

Any Bontoni fit like G&G or E.G?

I've seen many hand-sewn vamps over the years and bontoni's is among the tightest, neatest on the market. Their cordwainers must be obsessed with the finesse and challenge of this detail.

Justin - I only have regular calf and suede. I have seen Bontoni use alligator before but never Cordovan. They also use pebble grain calf (I think you may have a pair in pebble grain). It would be interesting to know if they use other types of skins.

And I keep wanting more and more of their long vamp shoes as they are things of beauty. So much handwork and attention to detail. Fit is always on point and styling is immaculate. Always get complements on my shoes.

I do have 2 pairs in pebble grain and waiting for my boots to come in pebble if i remember correctly. Ive seen the alligator but yea I would be interested in it.

My next MTO I was thinking of getting a string or tassel loafer with contrasting string/tassels. Any thoughts?

Yea thats the picture I looked at. I was thinking of doing a suede with leather tassels or even an exotic skin tassel

Not mine, but I have seen these posted on SF

I also like the style of the blue pair here. In another color they would be nice.

I think my favorite pair of Bontoni loafers are the ones on the left here wingtips sans tassel. I'm not a big loafer guy but these would be great in a dark brown.

Whats the approx cost of a pair of MTO Bontonis?

Between $1300-$1700

Depends on boot/shoe and norwegian stitching.
