Quality buttondowns you dont have to tuck in?

Thread Starter

I recently acquired some brooks brothers button downs to use as officewear, and was stricken by the quality of the fabric and color. The shirts are obviously longer to accomodate tucking in. I know I could wear them with jeans as casual dress, but sometimes I just want to be able to wear a shirt loose without it hanging down low. Any recommendations for quality brands that have a trim, modern fit and are cut short enough that you can wear them untucked?

BOO/Gitman/Kitsune in my experience.

Though I still need a little shortening on some due to having to buy a larger size for the shoulders/chest.

Why not just bring it to a tailor to get it shorten?

Gant Rugger offers the hugger fit with the length shorter than the BB OCBD's.
