What tie with mutli-colored brown glenplaid suit (with pictures)

I know there is quite a few "what tie?" threads, but this particular suiting color and pattern posses a few challenges.

My current attempts below (pics are as good as I can make them under the circumstances, sorry)

Questions:

1. Which ones do you like?

2. Which ones do you not? (please don't judge from the knots, I got a little sloppy at the end).

Thanks for input.

Attempt 1: Tan wool knit

Attempt 2: Striped wool knit

Attempt 3: Green cheviot wool

Attempt 4: Navy silk knit

Attempt 5: Blue wool

Attempt 6: Orange wool

Bonus stage:

You have to remember that a white shirt may work with some or all of those combos...

Thanks for the input.

The soilds, as suspected.

I'll try it the closest thing to a white shirt I own (blue stripe).

4 is the right color but even better if it were a foulard print instead of the knit, like this (fries optional). His shirt color is a good idea too --it's not reading as white, just a very light shade of brown.

keep the blue shirt
drop the cardigan
they only look good on
suits made of wintery fabrics

I really like no 5 and no 6.

With that shirt - 4
If you wore a much lighter blue shirt - 1, 4, 5, 6

Burn the bow tie, it looks awful.

I like 4 and 6

I like tie no.5 with the suit, but not necessarily with this shirt (tie and shirt are a bit too close)

Dear GBR,

You seem often to prescribe burning.
Are you a pyromaniac, perchance?
Perhaps you are simply trying it immitate the acerbic wit of the StyleForum sages.

I don't think it will burn, as it's 100% polyester.

I could probably melt it tough...

Good point about a lighter blue shirt - while having a ton of blue shirts, I've never really paid much attention to their different shades blue.

My own personal favorites are 5,6 (seems to be consensus on these) and 2.
