Great look, Kaplan. Very impressive.

Thank you, that's very kind.

As for the polos in the post above, sorry to say but they are all horrible.

H, you know I've tried to find these before, but this time it actually worked.

They're by Guy Rover, mentioned here.

Yep, KW polos and rugby polos are far and away the best at that price point. MoP buttons, great fit, no logo, and rakish spread stand up collar. (You'll have to find you're own better half though...)

I love polo shirts, but to look good they have to fit slim and the sleeve must fit close to the bicep. Most look pretty bad, with sleeves that are too long and too wide and a generally sloppy fit.

The best polos are made by (or perhaps I should say for) Tom Ford. They cost an arm and a leg but I haven't seen anything else which comes close.

I´m very happy with my RL Polo Custom Fit (slim fit) polos.

But my favorite is a real polo shirt worn by a real team. While in Buenos Aires for the Abierto this past fall I picked up the authentic polo shirt worn by the championship team: Ellerstrina.

My favorite polos I've come across are Banana's luxe-touch. Incredibly soft in a slimmer fit. The sleeves might be a tad short for some. http://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=47431&mlink=10894,5081454,2&clink=5081454

Winston:  Would love the opportunity to make you one that resembles the Tom Ford fit.  Do you have one on hand that you can measure out for us?  DM me and we can see what we can do.  jtang@vastrm.com
