More Lobbs today, the Tudor in Parisian brown museum. Gorgeous color!

I like a nice Chelsea boot on a clean basic last! The color really adds great dimension with the navy elastic shaft. That is navy right?

Great looking chelseas.
From some website i see that there are 2 models.
Which one has the wider last?
If you mean the Tudor and the Watton, I have them both, Tudor is 9.5-7000 last and the Watton is 10-8000 last, the widths are the same. It appears the the 7000 last is a little more generous in length.

I also wanted the boots in the November sole..... Anyone had any durability issues with the john lobb rubber soles?
Never. JL for some reason uses the best rubber there is. Very soft. I have their rubber soles on most of my JLs.

For reference again.

A young designer named Paula Gerbase was hired to modernize the brand. You can google it.

I personally seen to think JL has moved to compete directly against Berluti. One cannot deny Berluti shoes are eye catching and unique, whether or not in good taste through a classical lens is another matter.
Some of her stuff is just outright bloody offensive.

Having said that I can appreciate the brand needs to reach out to a wider audience and beyond the classic Oxfords and Derbys.

Agree on first statement and disagree on second. I think they have been forced into the fashion corner by looking too much at Berluti and Church's and also being under fierce competition by "new" brands like G&G, Corthay etc. What JL needs right now is not a Goth Chick with zero experience, they need either a guy like Tony Gaziano or Tom Park/Steven Taffel (retailers) to develop classic but contemporary product lines for them. Hell, I'd give it a shot if I was offered, I could do better than this latest collection by just sitting down for three hours looking at swatches and picking styles from archived patterns.
