OK. I was just curious to see how the had aged since I bought a pair yesterday myself :)

Those look amazing I have a pair of City II's closer to that color and they look even better as they have aged. 

 

Wear them well

Thanks, Im hoping they will get better with age :)

are you using neutral or brown cream/polish or mixing them for your City IIs?

I was thinking to go pure neutral to get them slightly lighter in color.

As you said, inside they look black.

I am using medium brown cream and reno mostly and very rarely once every 3-4 polishes a dark brown cream.

These are a little older but have gotten significantly more wear.

 

Now I look at it however you might have a darker brown starting point.

Agreed. Andy as far as GY welted RTW goes (I.e. not including vass, st. C, or others), JLP blows everything else out of the water. No way is Edward Green's finishing as fine as this.
