Pewter museum is an interesting color
Under brighter conditions it appears as grayish, but in darker lighting it appears as some shade of brown.

Pewter looks nice!!!  Just wonder how it will age.

It will age greatly, the shades will deepen with the time. An amazingly beautiful skin !!!

Anyone have a picture or experience of DEEP Blue Misty Calf??  I can't see the blue on this shoe.  Most look just black.

If you go on the leathersoul website and search under john lobb they have a couple of examples. One of the pics also compares black to the dark blue misty. It is a very dark blue

That's the only website that I seen the color.  It does look very dark.  I never been able to handle one though.

I seen the Navy Museum calf and it was very blue when sun light hit,  I wonder if its the same with the Deep blue misty.

Unfortunately i have never seen it in real life either. I would assume its the same as the museum.
Usually the coloring us similar but the museum tends to have more prominent marbling than the misty. It could be possible though that the blue misty is a darker blue bc of that (less cloudiness/marbling). I am also considering getting something in blue misty but have not pulled the trigger yet

The thing is I already pulled the trigger MTO with the deep blue misty, without seeing in real life..  no idea how it will age..  I bought it to be a alternative to black shoes.
