-The Dark Brown Museum calf is kinda reddish....i likey!

and....

-did JL change their branding? the logo is differant and the box and bags are purple, not yellow now.

Interesting, is it still Paula Gerbase?

I will post pics of the Chapel hopefully tomorrow when I can get some natural lighting.

Yes its her.  Some models are hideous.. But as long as they carry the classics it will be ok.

I noticed John Lobb now limiting their "By Request" Some Sole and Leather combination with the model of the shoe wont work.  Totally Lame.

Not sure how I feel about the new models or Logo change. But I do like the purple boxes.

For a second when I received my Chapel in the purple box I thought they had accidentally sent me a JL Paris Bespoke (since JL PAris bespoke have always come in purple boxes and bags)! and I was like...okay, if it fits I'll take it :)

I kinda like the Yellow Box's a serious shoes in a not so serious box color.  But seems like JLP is taking on some Gothic serious dark tone.  I wish the Williams and the Lopez atleast come in the yellow box but hey w/e.

Not only is the yellow box no more but gone are also the top pieces on the heels sporting the JL logo. 😡

I know there has been much shift with JL lately and this just further distanced my desire for the product. I do hope things swing in the right direction as I think their uppers are top notch.

I also like the old yellow boxes. biggrin.gif

Wait, do you mean the JL logo on the heels? It's still there on my Chapel. The John Lobb on the sole is the new one but it still has the JL insignia on the heels.

nearly 2 months have passed since i placed my order with Nick at Bespoke and 3 weeks since he last emailed. and now ive been forced to file a Paypal dispute. what a sad and pathetic turn of events. i still remember my first purchase 5 years ago when he was still selling G&G. and now its come to this. how utterly disappointing and time wasting this experience has been. what a joke. i regret having recommended anyone to Nick

so pretty much everything with JL has gone to shit, including the "service"

I wouldn't have waited nearly as long as you, that's simply unacceptable. If this is how he carries his GG MTO business I'll be sure to stay away.

Did you email him? After Christmas, I emailed him asking about the status of shoes, and then he sent me one of the pairs.

Did you go there in person? After Christmas, I went there in person and asked him about the status of shoes, and then he gave me one of the pairs.
