I wear 8.5 in EG and the 8.5 in Lobb also worked out best. I found the 7000 roomier on the instep and slightly wider in the forefoot than the 202. There is also less toe space in the Lobb.
Matter of fact in derby style i could almost size down to an 8 but not quite.

I also found a lot of heel slip no matter how many i tried. EG is still the best fit for me. StCs is also good with minir instep adjustments but not like EG.

I may go backand get some of their fancy lobb sneakers. I did like those and they fit
Thank you for providing feed back I knew I was size 8.5uk but know I have to physical try them before buying them. If they didn't work for you most probably will not work for me also. Once again thx you for your feed back.

The William last was better, but I did get some slight heel slip... also likely due to the double leather sole. In regards to sizing down, I would not have been able to go 1.5 from my US size and I have generally normal width feet (with low instep/arch).

I so wanted those tan Williams but they sold even before Nick's firesale.

Medium-to narrow feet unite! I found that Lobb works best for those with feet like a Yeti. The one Lobb last that I can wear is 8695. Not as good as EG, but passable.

Oddly I have a rather narrow feet and low instep. My 7000 city II and 8000 chapel fit me like charm.

Haha, We are the same on EG and GG as well -- 6.5E. So if you decide to get rid of your shoes, please let me know.

By the way, what size do you wear on Galway 82 last? 6.5E?

Just a follow up re bespoke england, after a long wait my order was finally filled. I got the John lobb for Paul smith Derbys. I wanted purple but they didn't have my size. Nonetheless, I think, they look pretty nice. I sprayed Saphir renovator and then waterproofer on them. Just took them in to get sunken toe plates done, should be out in the wild in a week, just in time for snow in Washington, D.C. Haha.

Anyone know where John Lobb Paris sources their Prestige soles? Are they real Oak Bark soles?

Thanks!

Look John Lobb now makes sneaks/plimsoles
They are pretty nice for denim and casual wear.

Yes same size as EG 8.5E. These are actually 9 but they did not have 8.5 in store and I,wanted to walk out with a pair :-). They fit like sneakers so 0.5 diff really makes no diff i can really discern. They do also have another version which is a sneaker like and a little more sleek but i liked the plimsoles
