Lobbs are my favorite. For me, the leather is just amazing even compared to other very high quality shoes. I'll have to post some more of mine at some point.

Here are the Chambord II in bracken (basically chestnut) in misty calf that I bought in January. My poor photography doesn't do them justice.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I've been traveling so much I still haven't taken them for a spin yet. Very soon though...

Excellent!!!

It did appear on their website they really don't have many boots, but those sir look absolutely fabulous.

Can you attribute the quality of their leather to anything they do specifically that others do not?

Thanks, I'll need to get the real camera out instead of the crappy cell phone pic to really do it justice.

Can anyone provide any information with regards to the various Lasts that John Lobb uses?

I have been unsuccessful in finding RTW John Lobb's in wide sizes. Is there any way to find wide sized JL's, without going MTO or bespoke?

Love JL's, pricey but great looking

I really don't know. They just break-in in such a fantastic way. I end up loving them the more I wear them. Something about how it all molds around your foot over time. My partner has a pair of Philip II in museum calf. He wasn't sure at first. Now he can't believe how they feel on his feet. Loves 'em.
