Replace Buttons on Navy Peacoat

Hello all,

 

I am looking to replace the buttons I currently have on my Charles Tyrwhitt Navy Bridge Coat.

 

 

 

I am thinking of replacing the current buttons with brown horn buttons? Any recommendations as to which type of buttons I should get and where can I find the best bang for your buck high quality buttons on the internet or NYC area.

Horn sounds fine, but I'd say a plain dark navy would work as well.

if your in NYC, walk down any block in the garment district with the coat and you will find many places.

It's a German button factory. I think they ship to the US as well, but I don't know about the shipping costs. They sell them in batches of 25. And they're closed until Monday.

This looks quite good. I have a bridge coat (an actual, issue, full length one, made from rough Melton) that I swapped out the brass for leather buttons.

I added it later; maybe you just missed it.

Good luck. Make sure you get the right size (mine are two millimetres smaller than the original buttons; that's no problem). There's a size table on the site.
