Well I need a new pair of glasses thanks to my friend breaking my old ones My old ones cost over 600 euros and I don't really want to spend that much so, I've been browsing some internet stores, such as Optical4less, but I can't really decide what would look good on me or what's even stylish, I hope some of you might be able to help me out a bit?

I don't have a specific recommendation for you, but I do have another site you might be interested in. It explains a bit which frames go with the shape of your face.

Cheers!

Thanks, but sadly I don't consider myself very good at approximating what my face is shaped like, so I'd appreciate it if you'd tell me Edit: If I'd have to guess myself I'd say I'm somewhere between an oval or a diamond, maybe a diamond soon as I'm going to have to lose about 10 lbs in the next few weeks. Confirm/deny?

nos. 9, 10, and 11 would suit you, I think.
Regarding a new hair style . . . especially if you're planning to lose weight, I'd like your hair slicked back. Would look chic and stylish.

Slicked back is unlikely to look good on a male without an oval or moderately square face and ideal features.

Try some of the advice here. It will get you thinking about some of the details not shared in this thread.

I don't know about the ideal features, oval face . . . sure, that would be best. But I've seen men and women with irregular faces, who can carry a severe hairstyle. Conversely, I've seen women and men with very even features, who haven't looked great with their hair, slicked back.

These days, Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson and John Travolta don't look so good with slicked-back hair, despite ideal features. It's hard to think of an example that supports the other claim.

The bangs in the picture add to the difficulty of saying whether the face shape is oval or diamond. They're a bit long, by the way. Other than that, the haircut suits the face shape. It can be improved upon, of course.

. . . how about Pat Riley?? Similar facial shape, to rubber's. Mr. Riley's features are a long way from ideal, I'd say. btw: I never thought Audrey Hepburn's features were ideal . . . her nose was prominent. Her chin, too small. But she looked wonderful, with her hair slicked straight back. On the other hand, I don't think Catherine Deneuve, whose features are much better than Hepburn's were . . . ever looked good with her hair, pulled straight back. Sometimes a severe coiffe can offset facial distortions, turning them into plusses, rather than minuses. Another example, was Cher . . . when she was young, Cher had a perfectly oval face. Her features were far from ideal, but she looked excellent with her hair straight back, or in center part configuration. Something many women considered to be great beauties, couldn't pull off.

WHAT?!?! Fergie has far from ideal features, I think she looks like a frog. Her hairline is really, really low which is a big part of the problem w/ her and slicked back hair.

You're right about Fergie, in a crude way. However, when her eyes were wider (she's aging), slicked-back worked because it narrowed her face and (due to the thickness) lengthened the forehead. The hairstyle also no longer flatters Pat Riley. (Familiarity can make attractiveness judgments subjective.) Audrey Hepburn's beauty was her neoteny, which the hairstyle emphasized. Sometimes slicking back hair is a way of minimizing bad hair. Likewise, it can be too good to often 'hide.' Sorry to the original poster (who has good hair) from hijacking his thread.
