I feel I need to do a post to thank all the members of styleforum and tell you all how great you are. I think we are all a very caring bunch. Whenever I need advice on anything, styleforum is the first place I go. I have learned so much about clothes, politics, sports and everything in between. I always get several responses no matter what I post about. The fashion advice and tips on grilling a steak have been top notch. I was short on cash one week and was supposed to meet a fellow member and told him I couldn't make it because I didn't have the money. He said rubbish and paid for my meal. That was so nice to do that for someone you never met. I sent out a free Purple Label tie to a member the other week and was shocked when he wrote me a letter saying how much he appreciated my generosity. All the people have been so happy with the few free items I have given out and that makes me feel so good knowing that we help each other out even though some of the threads get heated. I say raise a glass to yourself today for a job well done by all of us.

Any other votes for verbally abusing this sissy for starting such an inane topic? What is this, a group therapy forum?

I realize now it was a bad title for a thread. Thanks for trashing what should have been a nice tribute to all of us.

Manton, I really think that you need to lighten up and stop being so hostile; especially when someone is trying to pay a compliment.

I think most of us feel the same way as your post, but like all insensetive males, we are hard wired to ridicule any such open display of sentiment. Feel it? Fine. Say it? Taboo.

I'm pretty sure he thinks it's the evil eye. It is, right?

To Kasper, yes. To all others, something else.
