Leg Opening

I just got a pair of pants and the leg opening is ~9.5" and i was wondering if it is possible to slim the opening to around 8"?

its possible but you want to take them to a good tailor. Do you need them taken in from the waist down or jsut from the knee down? From the knee down is easiest (have them do 1/2-3/4 inch from each seam, not 1.5 from one seam), from the thigh down, you may want to start takin in only 1/2-3/4 inch from the top and then increase as you go down the leg. The crease is going to move so that will need to be ironed out

I am just going to be needing them taken in from the knee down. The thigh area is good. I am also needing them to be hemmed up anyway and put a 2" cuff on them.

For 1 1/2 inches I would suggest you make sure they take the leg in from both seams, not just one. I think any decent tailor will know to do this but I'd make sure.
