Hey there, if I wear a sz 31 in APC New Standard, what sz is comparable in Petite Standard and the New Cure fit?

Thanks,

V

@ gong

The thighs should stretch quite a bit too... but will still I reckon remain fairly tight (judging by the pictures of the larger size you provided) for better or worse depending on what your going for.

I don't think the PS are really designed for big legs IMO if a skinny/slim Jean look isn't what your going for... You could try on a very sized down new standard if your returning it back to a high street retailer as that will result in a jean more on the slim than skinny side while still fitting very well on the waist (the very sized down will be hell for a week or two though until it stretches out bare in mind haha!)

I say typically you go up 1 size for the PS, so a 32.

I'm looking for a slim/skinny fit, just not skin tight. The thighs on the 30 have very little slack and are pretty tight, should I just keep these then? I wear a belt anyways and I'm not too concerned about the waist stretch.

If not should I look into the New Standard instead? I'd have to get a 27 or 28 and according to context's measurements that has a 10.5 thigh, would it eventually stretch 1/2 inch to a 11 or more?

Need advice.

I currently own a 6-month old pair of New Cures. I sized down 2 and out of the box they fit great. I've been wearing them 3 to 4 days a week, they're developing well, but the seat has billowed out a bit too much. I've yet to soak or wash them, and may not for quite a while. I decided to try one size smaller.

I just picked up a pair of Petite Standards (PS), sizing down 3. I can get them on and all buttoned, but just barely, and kinda nut busting. From what I've read here initially "too tight" evolves into "just right" after a few weeks. Do I keep the PS or exchange for a size one larger?

Thanks.

Hi, I just got my second pair of PS's in a 31, sizing down 2. I already have a pair in that size and they fit well, but it's not the size I'm worried about...

I've had my new pair shortened to about 32", and had the legs tapered to about 6.25" at the opening. Does that sound too tight? I haven't had them back from the tailor yet. If I find them too tight, will shortening them bring the leg opening out by a little bit? Just curious/slightly worried.

Thanks in advance x

How much do APCs stretch in the thigh? Is 1/4-1/2 an inch pushing it or is that the norm?

What's actually good about rawdenim jeans? I think it looks too hip-hop and plain-coloured.

PS opening is 7", so you've reduced the circumference to 12.5". Be interesting to see if you can get your foot through. Typically the tapering-by-tailor starts at the knee, approx 24" above the hem, so the size reduction per inch of length is gradual. 1.5" is the same as 24/16", and this tapering is done along a 24" line, so for every 1" of length the tapering is 1/16". In short, reducing the length of the jeans really won't significantly widen the opening.

thanks

My cursory impression was that they were half canvassed (some). The quality was not all that great, that said, for some reason, they look awesome on people. It's just one of those things smile.gif
