^i usually wear 33-34 in jeans/slacks. i just got a pair in 32 and they fit a bit snug. was able to button the waist fairly easily but thighs are a bit tight (12in from crotch to seam). unless you've got thunder thighs, like me, you could probably fit a 31.

Anyone interested in a navy blue Size 40 APC Trench Coat? Great condition. If this fit me I would easily keep it but it's slightly small around my chest.

How much do you think this would go for on B&S or ebay?

Cheers

I'm curious to see this trench. Would a 40 be the equivalent of a size M? I've got a small APC trench coat that fits a little tight in the chest.

Thanks. Definitely like you in the thigh department. Are you comfortable in the 32? Will they stretch in the thigh area? Not looking for a skinny or tight look here. Not as young as I used to be. What is a good price?

curious about thigh area too. I tried them in apc today. I'm usually 30, so 1 sz down, 29. But when I put them off for the 1st time and tried on again, the waist was already loosened. So I went for 28, just button them, both tight on thigh n lower leg. SA said I should get them as tight as possible n overcome the 1or2 weeks then they'll be good...

I'm a true 31" waist but have larger thighs (in the 22" range or so), what size would I be in the PS? I'm 5'10" 160lbs.

i've been wearing them around the house for the past two days doing squats, lunges, and jumping jacks but the stretch isn't significant. they're definitely breaking in and are more comfortable than when i first got them. i anticipate some/little stretch, maybe half an inch in the thigh area? new standards aren't really "skinny or tight", they're more slim straight. whether skinny, straight, or slim really depends on how you decide to size them to your build. i'd say "size down" one (33 in your case?) or stay true to size, which is probably a bad idea because the waist will probably stretch undesirably. refer to contextclothing for measurements.

I'd say a 30 would be good. Usually it's size down 2 from actual measurement at the hip, but to account for your athletic thighs, I'd do just one. Should try them on in person, if possible

Alright fellas. Here are the pics of the APC Trench Coat in Navy Blue.

Sadly, I can't fit into this because of my chest. I typically wear a M in most jackets but in suits I wear a 42R because I've a larger chest and shoulders b/c I work out.

This would be ideal for someone who is looking for a slim to fitted look that is a Medium. Beautiful coat. Would trade if someone has the same in a larger size.

I'll be posting this on B&S and ebay next week so you've first crack at it. Open to only reasonable and fair offers. Don't lowball me. We all know the quality and price for APC items.

Cheers

I just got a pair of PS that someone owned and wore for a week. The waist might be stretched about an inch more than I need. Will the waist shrink some if I just put the top block in hot water for a bit and let it air dry or does that not work with APC denim?

As requested, here are the measurements. Keep in mind I did not use a tailors measuring tape but used a ruler from work. Most likely not off b/c I measured all dimensions twice.

P2P 20 7/8"
S2S 23 5/8" with 1 5/8" let
BOC 32 1/8"

Info: Navy blue. There is one button missing but this is an easy $1 fix. There is slight discoloration near the collar area but this is inside . I can provide cell phone pics if needed. A person looking at you cannot see this discoloration.

PM me with any questions. If this doesn't sell, I will put on B&S/ebay in a week after I come back from my business trip but will respond to questions at the same time.

Price? I'm trying to figure this out but all fair offers are welcome.

What to wear with? Feel free to look at the Sartorialist blog as I've seen many showcased wearing trench's. You can wear this with a simple cardigan with a knit tie and APC jeans and some chukkas, desert boots or sneakers. I've even seen people wear boat shoes and pennies too. I've also seen and was hoping to wear this to work whether with dress shoes slacks and a shirt and tie. You could also keep it very chill with a simple white t shirt and jeans look.

Cheers
