Anything in APC that fits like this?

N&FxMomotaro Weird Guy Collabo 2, Size 32

34 - 35" waist

12.25 - 12.5" thigh

8.5 - 8.7" knee

7.5 - 7.85" leg opening

Idk if the Petit Standards in 34 can fit my fat thighs, and (based on the measurements) I think the New Standards that fit my thighs aren't tapered enough to my liking.

yeah the NS def wouldn't taper the way you wanted. I feel like the PS in 33/34 would work for you. I have WG in 29 and PS in 29 and the thighs fit very similarly.

I have to bring those pants up again. Those pants are looking amazingly good.
Just be sure to never throw them away
They would fit perfectly in to the Jeansmuseum some day, where they could survive for ever

Enjoy all your current and future raw denim projects!

Edit: Problem solved after trying on a few more things. Thanks for the help.

I'm moving to France in a couple of months, and was wondering if APC denim or clothes are any cheaper in Paris. Looks to be identical -- at this point NS on the .fr APC web site are 135 euros, which is about 180 US. (plus vat, however, which could tip the balance). Does anyone know any different? Is it just coincidence or does APC peg prices to the dollar?

I also noticed that there seem to be a few different NS washes on the .fr web site than on the US one.

Wow! Thanks for that. I was on the fence between a pair of APC or Naked & Famous. At that price and in my size it's not a question.

EDIT: Looks like I might have snatched the last pair.

I've worn mine almost everyday for two months now and they are black as can be. In spots where they crease up, the creases have gotten kinda shiny...but that's about it. But that's why I wanted these and not the black raws. No fades.

Man I wish TOJ still made the MA-1.

I love that bomber, but it's about $60 more than I wanna pay for it. Will they deduct VAT? devil.gif

Hey, a fit question here. I feel bad posting ANOTHER one of these but I've read through hundreds of pages of posts and there is so much contradictory information it has started to seem to me that each pair of jeans fits everyone a little different.

Anyway - here's my deal:

I have a couple of pairs of Levi's 511's that I love the way they fit. They are slim on the thigh but they don't strangle me (maybe there's half an inch of "room") and I like the leg opening quite a lot. I wear these mostly in 30x32 though I find Levi's consistency varies and sometimes I am a 29.

I bought a pair of APC New Cures sz. 28 the other day but am having my doubts that I scored the fit I was looking for. This is my experience with what I tried:

Petit Standards in sizes 26, 27, 28 - Two things to note here: 1) I could not button the 26's at all really. The 27's at first I could get 2, and on trying them on a 2nd time I was able to get all 4 when sucking my stomach in.

2) I definitely liked the feel of the seat and thigh area, but in the 27's the leg opening was too small - looked more like Levis 510's. Oddly enough (or maybe not so oddly) there was a massive difference in the leg opening on the 28's (somewhere closer to 511's but probably half an inch smaller or so?), but I am worried the 28 waist would stretch out too much and would be too baggy on me eventually.

New Cures - I couldn't even pull a pair of 27's of these up to my waist.. the thighs are sooooo tight. The 28's I could just barely get up there. They are very uncomfortable in the thigh but the rest of the leg and leg opening fit pretty much how I want (very similar to 511's). The waist on the 28's was a bit tight in the store but after a couple hours of wear at home they started to feel less constricting which has me thinking that the waist to thigh ratio on these just isn't right for me. I do have thin legs/thighs, but I have an even thinner waist ratio-wise.

After taking the jeans off to go to sleep I literally had pain in my thighs because of how tight the jeans were... I am aware that APC's trend to stretch more in the waist than anywhere else leading me to believe these might actually get TOO big in the waist while not stretching out enough in the thigh area to even make me comfortable with the fit.

I did not try out any New Standards but now I feel kind of silly for not doing so (not sure if they had Cure's but maybe I should have tried those too). I plan on going back and doing this, but in the meantime was curious if any of you guru's might have some sage wisdom based on the information above?

Financially for me it is a big purchase to make but I have resolved to treating myself to a nice pair of jeans. I'm just scared to make the wrong choice!

Thanks kindly.

I used three months trying to stretch out the thighs on my APC PS 30, and they stayed thight ass f***. I then throwed them in the washer and afterwards I filled each thigh with three big towels, and after about 18 hours the thighs were perfect!

Yeah, I'd get one if it was in the mid 300's.

Nah, no VAT deduction. It would be shipped from one of their NY locations. At least that's how it went with the jeans I ordered from apc.fr.
