Regardless-- if you had weight loss you'll never be able to get them to "fit" again. I had a pair of Dior raws and then loss a few pounds (maybe 6lbs) and with the waist stretch I'm swimming in them now. Hot wash did essentially nothing.

I only did one hour soak, then machine dry (hoping for a bit of extra shrinkage).

Quick question: What fit of APC should I go for if i normally wear Levi's Matchsticks (31W) and RRL Slim-fit (29W)? These two fit me well, and I like small leg openings (dont think I can do below 7" though). I'm measured 32" in waist

Agreed on the petit standards...and I know I got jumped on here, but I just got a pair of New Cures (after already having the Petit Standards in the same size) and Petit Standards are definitely tighter all around in the same size....

Oh, wonderful. Just for the PS or all around? Do they tend to error on the side of understating the measurements?

Really?? damn it.. everywhere else i read said that the PS had a larger top block but a greater taper than the NC.. i hope this isn't true or i guess i'll be returning my PS i just ordered.

well i haven't measured on my NCs and haven't even looked at their measurements again after finding out their measurements on the NS were wrong and being measured smaller than what is actually the case.

The Petit standards have a lower rise and are tighter in the hips. The thighs might be negligibly looser....but given the combination of the rise/hips, they certainly don't seem like it.

I use Mr. Porter's measurements, in other brands, they seem to be pretty spot on.

In my possession I had a NC with 2 years of wear, a new NC, and a new PS all in the same size. The PS was def the looses fitting of them all, my thighs hardly fit into the NC.
people need to understand that the PS thigh is looser and a bigger taper down to the leg opening, while the NC has tighter thigh and bigger leg opening. THATS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW STOP DEBATING

NC has a tighter knee too biggrin.gif
