Are you guys actually measuring your true waist (2 finger widths above your belly button), or where you most likely wear your jeans (2 finger widths below your belly button). That could be the difference.

For example, my true waist is 31, but where I wear my jeans is a 33. Unless people do pull their jeans above their belly button...I'm never surprised here on SF.

Noticed that 99% of this thread is about their jeans and SIZING.

What about their apparel? Or is it sort of not worth it?

apparel is fine. decent fit and quality for price. i have a cardigan and a few random other pieces

but apc is big enough now that you can find stuff on sale from a lot of places including affiliates if you just wait a lil

Your waist size is one thing, but your ass and your thights play a role in how you'd need to size.

For me, sizing down from a 29 to a 28 is ball crushing tight. I would size down to a 27 in NS.
buyer beware if you're considering doing this in my humble opinion. Though if you do decide to...post pics thumbs-up.gif...and more power to you I guess.

I just don't want fat new users to read stuff in this thread and -4 on a pair of PS they're buying over the internet. Just want to mention that it's possible to wear your jeans skin tight, or slightly loose to accent your proportions. You gotta try on different pairs and see how they work with your body type and how they'll work with shoes and tops.

Doesn't Synthese wear TTS PS?

I'm a minimalist in many ways but a lot of APC stuff is just way plain. Looks like GAP.

The apparel is worth it, especially if you can get it on deep discount. I own a few coats and a couple shirts, the quality and attention to detail is always good.

If you're fat what are you doing wearing skinny raw denim?

You can be fat and wear PS just fine if you don't size down 4.

Can't imagine that being flattering but you'd still want the one that was tight to button at first...
Hence, my advice.

Hi everyone,

According to superfuture the APC New Cure has a similar cut to Dior Homme 19 cm. Is this true for larger sizes too? I own the 19 cm in size 34 and love the fit. But I have noticed that often the larger sizes of slim or skinny jeans fit differently. To achieve the same look as my 34 DH 19 cm should I get a size 32 New Standard or a 33 New Cure?

Thanks :)

Yeah, we're measuring right where we wear our jeans. For me it's about 3 inches below my navel. Measured there I'm 34-34.5 inches and I wear a size 30 petit standards. Here's some pics I posted recently.

Yeah, that's where we're measuring. For me that's about 3 inches below my navel and I measure 34 to 34.5 around there. A few pages back I posted pics of me wearing size 30 petit standards.

I'd build a wardrobe of pure apc clothing but the price is just too much.

So what's a good time for the first wash? I've had them since late July, and I wear them probably 4-5 times a week regularly to school or when going out. I figure 6 months is probably a safe bet, which would be around January.

Also, what's the best way to actually do a wash?

I have been wearing my PS for about a month, and I want the starch below the knee to settle kind of as my stacks look kind of weird. Is it safe to soak them know, even tho my combs and whiskers are already setting in, or should I sleep in them to get rid of starch. Pardon my inexperience with this, any reply is greatly appreciated.
