A.P.C. The official thread for APC questions. - Page 484

Hi guys. I'd like to get your opinion/advice on this. I usually wear straight leg, but was wondering if I can pull off a slimmer fitting APC cut, specifically the PS. Here's me in some random Lee Cooper slim-cut: (don't mind the stacking / lack of shoes) I'm size 29, but I always get the feeling that my thighs are too big for this cut.

that's pretty much what my PS looked like before the wash. it doesnt look like you have big thighs in that photo. plus the thighs will stretch out to accommodate your thighs within reason

I've owned like 5 pairs of APCs and none of them stretched out in the thighs at all

APC NS size 30 (3rd wear)
I'm 5'9, 160 lbs. True waist measured at 33. Probably could have gone with 29 for the waist but would have been way too tight in the thigh. Any comments and suggestions welcome.

i would have sized down one more - they look fairly loose for the third wear. anyway, let them wear in and see how they go. should be a nice relaxed pair

^ not sure if serious

well what else can he do with them but see how they go?

Are the thighs bigger on the NS? I don't have a store close by and the New Cures were too tight in the thighs. Context list them as being smaller, but I thought the NS were a bigger cut?

Looking for something slightly slimmer than 511's yet not as skinny as 510's. Does APC have such a cut?

Hey everybody, let's not forget A.P.C. looks good on slim guys. Not designed for fat fucks.

carry on.

^ Ignore the idiot. They should still have some stretch in the waist. Once they settle in they should look great. @ tacoflavoredkisses: I think the PS should be exactly what you're looking for

Or the New Cures? 511's seem to vary a lot. I like them, got 4 pairs in 31 and 32, cos it's about the slimmest rigid jean I can wear and I like the cut. PS's were definitely too tight for me though, so got the size 30 New Cures instead. Jury is still out on whether I should have gone for New Standards cos the NCs are still fairly tight through the leg after a few wears.

PS might be lower rise than 511 and NS is probably higher. NC's seem to be about the same rise as 511. The NC has this curious effect of almost being a bit flared at the leg opening, although it appears to be cut straight in the lower leg. the stacking sit well on the shoe, more so than 511s.
