jet black as in overdye? They must have changed them this past fall then because mine are tagged 'faux noir' and definately aren't a 'jet black'. They have a white 'weft' (?) or whatever. Definately white thread in there, just like standard APC black raws.

What's the best way to prevent crotch blowout on these things?

Don't size down too much to prevent crotch blowouts.

And I don't think those are NCs imho.

no question, really, but it's the A.P.C. thread...

got some Petit Standards. Here they are next to my old Hipsters

Fit me fine, but didn't like the cut so much--too narrow below the knee--so I decided to experiment.

bleach, wash, 2x rinse:

the result:

Took me about five minutes to button up after all the washing/rinsing/hot water, but hey, this bright blue is a great contrast to the color on my brown calf TOJ bomber.

The color looks completely different in those two pics man haha. The light blue in the last one look awesome though. How did you size? I'm loving the fit of my PS 2 size down so far.

Anyone know what season these PS are from? Still available anywhere?

Uh you have the UNC ram as your avatar. That's what's up. Endless points. Yeah, the pics look different--of the two, it's closer to the close-up pic in real life. A silvery electric blue. They were still drying in the first pic. Sizing: down 2...or so. I've not been around the block enough to say, I guess. These are PS 26. The brands I know the best aren't well discussed around here: Acne 27 Bonobos 28 Outlier 27 (they don't offer this anymore, I just found out.) Levi's i guess 28 (i fit a 28 stf before shrinking easily. they don't make smaller; i expect a 27 would be like Acne 27) edit: also a tight Epaulet 28, Walts, rivet chinos, and Smiths. On this PS 26, I can button up all the buttons before washing with minimal effort. my real waist, at its narrowest, the belly button, if i suck like hell, is 26 or so. the top of my hips is 30" and these jeans, given all the hassling I've given them, measure less than 1/4" under 30".

That picture is the best JKissi fit I've seen so far - thanks... I'd say just get the raws and run them through the wash ~200 times for the same effect.

Quick question about soaking: Ive had my PS for about 7-8 months (no washes, few freezes and dry cleans) and now I think id like to soak them so I can accelerate fades and make them a bit softer. What would be the best way to soak them? I dont want them to shrink at all, so probably go with cold water. Should I use detergent or woolite? Any other soaking tips. Thanks in advance

Pinhas, that will all be fine. I'd say even consider doing a lukewarm soak.

I just put mine in the bathtub, but a sink or bucket works too. I usually leave them in for 45min - 1hr and when they are done I let all the water drip out, lay them folded in half on a towel and roll it up to keep from getting water everywhere. Once some of the water has been absorbed out of the jeans I hang them until the next day.

You can agitate them to remove dirt but this can cause shrinkage.

Does anyone if a 1 3/4 belt will fit the loops of a New Cure (31)? My measurements look like they will, but it is going to be a tight fit. The belt is going to be custom made, so no room for error.
