Briefs or boxer briefs, definitely. You can pick up a bunch of plain ones at Target for pretty cheap, or H&M has some more interesting/softer ones for a bit more. I'm very happy I made the switch from regular boxers...

I think I'll get mine shortened to a 32", for an inch of cuff and slight stacking.

I just got my APC NS today. I'm usually a size 35 in other pants so I got the NS in size 33.

Are they supposed to be this tight? I couldn't even get the last 2 buttons to close.

Asking my question again, this time with fit pictures hoping for helpful replies.

I am curious how many 6 foot or taller people are wearing these as I was unable to find them with an inseam longer than 34 and I find 34 barely works for me, it doesn't feel like my other 34 inseam pants. They don't really bunch up at all at the bottom where they meet the shoe like I see in some photographs. When I sit down or squat to tie my shoes my socks will be exposed.

So now I'm wondering if the fit is too short (bad for me since I wore them around the house for a few hours - no return now) or if I'm just not used to jeans with such a taper and narrow opening that doesn't really fit around the tops of my shoes.

Apologies for the poor lighting. No, I do not wear white socks with dressier shoes. I put those on for contrast, so that it would be easier to see any exposed sock.

Leg opening collage:

Feedback on the fit would be helpful so I know if I should keep wearing them or sell them to someone before I really start to break them in... thanks

I'm over 6 feet and cannot fathom how the inseam of a new APC could be too short for you. I'm double cuffing my new Rescues. Unless Rescues are different in inseam length from NS, or, as you said yourself, you're not used to a tapered jean that wont go over your shoe.

Does anyone know the cuff width for each men's style of APC? I can't find this anywhere on the interwebs.

Context has a sizing chart that tells you. http://www.contextclothing.com/brands/apc/ Can someone answer my previous question? I sized down 2 on the NS and got a 33 but it's really tight in the thighs. I can button it fully now and the fit's good from the knee down but it's almost skintight at the thighs. Will it stretch later? Thanks

Nations, I'm in the same situation as you as I got my APC jeans last week. It is expected to stretch after frequent use. Give it a few months of wear and it'll be like your normal jeans. It feels tight now - but the constant stress will get it to where it makes you comfortable.

I thought the concensus was that the thighs don't stretch that much.

That was my understanding as well from what I've read they will not stretch like the waist will. Perhaps the fit is not right for your build?

... come on people comment on my fit pictures on the previous page
