Thigh on PNS might be a little slimmer than standard NS but don't quote me on that.

Basically NS is straight, PNS is tapered from knee down, PS is very slim and NC is skinny.

Moss, I didn't read carefully. If that pic is the 29 PNS, then either keep and stretch 'em out, or try regular NS instead for little more thigh room and bit less aggressive taper so doesn't make you look like you have fat thighs. Note, you may have to size down even 1 more for regular NS cut.

PS is most tapered, NC is skinnier in the thigh but has a wider hem

gotta be honest, those are looking like some performance enhanced fades

I am aiming for a slim but not skinny or tight fit. I tried on both the 30s and the 29s in the PNS; the 30s fit nicely everywhere except I had about an inch of spare room around the waist. The guy that was helping me at the store recommended I go with the 29s. Sorry for poor picture quality. In case it isn't obvious, the thigh area is quite tight.

I have no problem getting them on or buttoning them up (the waist fits perfectly), but they feel far more snug than I'd like them to end up (post-stretch). I am mostly worried about the thigh area, and I know people often say that this is an area that won't stretch much. I'm thinking of exchanging these for the 30s, which I can just wear with a belt. Thoughts?

what he said. you're a built-ish dude, would think the NS would be more your speed. just checked the measurements on each (having not been personally familiar with the PS) and it looks like the PS is slightly slimmer from thigh down, and gets even thinner from the knee down (bout what I'd expected).

above all though, these will stretch and likely a bunch. the thigh not stretching thing is sorta true but not totally--my NS thighs were painted on initially, and now have a reasonable fit. if these are mostly the proportions you want but tighter and the NS lack of taper not acceptable, I'd prob just stick with these

Has anyone ever bought a pair of Butlers in an APC store, do they cost the same as a new pair? less? or does the price vary depending on how the pair has been faded or broken-in? It seems the only available info about the Butler project focuses on the trade process-getting half off a new pair once you bring in your old ones.

Because I don't live near an apc store, i'm eyeing several listings for Butlers on eBay

For example:

i just want to get a better sense of their market value.

BTW, Valo, the stacking fades on your PS's are awesome.

Aireater not sure on the price of the butler jeans but I don't trust the ebay sellers. A lot of people list their worb jeans as butler. Apc will repair the butler jeans they sell fixing any holes/rips etc.

don't buy butler jeans, just buy new and fade them yourself. butler most likely won't have the stacks and fades in the places you want to them to be. they may look nice, but most likely not on you.

I had a minor motorcycle accident in them, which contributed to the tearing on the right side. Other than that, it was just walking around campus and doing regular student things.

How dare you sully the hallowed tradition of raw denim Vaio. I'm so legit I don't even wear my raw denim, to avoid inducing any blasphemous wear. My APCs have the sickest closet shelf fades.

I am looking for jeans with roughly the following measurements (post stretch)

waist 33
front rise >10
thigh at crotch 12
knee 8
leg opening 7

Can I find that from APC?

Also, not sure if I posted these here, motivation for noobs:

Hello,

Im Searching for an other Jeans brand, that fits the same like APC Petit Standard... does there exist any other jeans with same fit?

Cheers,

Don

Just wondering, if you want the same fit why not buy APC? Do you want a cheaper alternative or something better made?
I like Acne jeans very much, fit is not the same though, but a similar silhouette

That sounds like a Petite Standard size 30 or New Standard Petite prob size 30 as well.

Sorry for another fit question but...

I'm looking at getting a pair of PNS. I have a pair of Unis Gio Skinny's in size 32 that I really like the fit of, and it seems the fit of them is actually quite similar to PNS in the sense that they both have more room in the top block but taper nicely to a 7 inch inseam. I have a pretty bigg butt and medium thighs (22 inches), and I am really just wondering if I should get the same size in PNS as my Unis pants. I have about a 31.5-32 true waist, and I know am looking at getting the PNS in 31 or 32. I am leaning towards 32 just for the extra room in the top block, and I know it might be too big in the waist but I don't really care just as long as it fits well through the hips and thighs. Anyways, this post probably didn't really make much sense haha, if anyone could give me some sort of direction that would be cool.
