These are the NS, but assume same as your PS with no stretch. I suppose I can deal with the tighs tight if the waist loosens up so my junk doesn't go numb from the squished package.

What's your thoughts on the inseem, In your opinion if you had them long would you jut cuff or just give up on apc and did something else? I'm not fond of hemming, and looking to avoid it.

I like stacking, but someone here commented saying mine had too much.

Thanks for replying:)

Same denim used to make the jean, so it will probably have little give. The waist will most definitely stretch--it did with more on both pairs, more than enough. But the problem was the entire top block never stretched (whole junk area+thighs) so it was just unbearable. I wore mine cuffed and got plenty of compliments on the cuffed look, and will continue to wear my next pair cuffed!

The reason the thighs don't stretch much is probably because they don't experience a lot of distress during wear. The thighs on my petits are snug but I recon' I can stretch them out a bit by pulling out the denim by hand, or by working them out while they are on me. I've also heard of people stuffing a t-shirt down their jeans on both leg and sleeping in them. If you keep sizing up the waist will just keep getting larger probably

He can wear a belt i have two pairs of ns one true to size and one size down one i can fit both fine i always wear a belt funny thing is the true to size waist one is 28.5 the size down one one is 29.

Sizes 27 and 26 for reference

Waist only stretches a ton of you dont wear a belt, wear a belt loose, or sized down too much

I definitely tried the whole stuffing the legs with towels too--to no avail. My petits just always stayed so snug that I decided it wouldn't stretch anymore. The thighs in general don't stretch very much, and because of that very reason--they aren't put under too much stress. But even with my pair, I have pretty large quads going into the 32 PS and they still never really stretched much.

I'm 5'9" around 148 lbs. I have a 28 Petit Standard that's tight on the thighs now. My question is, is there a huge difference between the size 28 Petit Standard and the size 29 Petit Standard? I'm thinking the 29 will be my next purchase.

I'm 5' 7", would I fit in a size small shearling parka?  Processed By eBay with ImageMagick, R1.1.1.M2a

Petite standards are always going to be tight on anyone with regular sized thighs unless you size up two.

Try petite new standards. Jack you need xs

Ditto. I would definitely go with PNS--it tapers about the same, but with more top block space.

Are my New Standards ready for their first wash?

Started wearing them at the beginning of the year but only for 2 times per week max.
Not seeing much fade but I just want to wash them so that I can get them tapered and hemmed.

The answer is the same as the answer to this question: do they smell bad?

Air them outside for one two days if they smell bad.

Hi all can you please help me choose a style and size? I took these photos in the Nordstrom dressing room so the lighting conditions are what they are.

29 New Standard (fit right at waist, thigh tight but ok, a bit of room at calf)

I didn't have any issues with buttoning up the buttons. It was a snug fit but it wasn't the death grip on my waist.

Here is the 29 Petite Standard

These felt super tight. It was a struggle to get the last button through. I'm not a big fan of super skinny jeans but I felt these looked pretty good. I'm still leaning toward the NS. But from what I've read, I should not be able to button up the last button or it should be difficult at best. For the NS, I was able to button up the last button without much struggle. It fit right at my waist. With both jeans, the thigh was tight, a bit more so with the PS's. The larger waist sizes had too much room, and they didn't have any 28's.

My normal jeans size is 32x30 with belt. Here are some Levi's slim fit that I wore to the store in 32x30.

So what are your thoughts on best fit for me?

Also as a side note, this is my first foray into selvedge, raw denim. These motherf'ers were stiff lol.

I don't know if this is a sarcastic comment or not. Any opinion on the APC jeans? I'm looking for something a bit higher quality than my Levi's.
