i usually wear a size 31 pants (which have a 32 inch waist, and gives me some wiggy room which i like)

should i get a size 29 or 30 in petit new standard?

I'm stuck in between :/

Are you sure you don't want to size down to a 26?

is the Petite New Standard pretty close to the cut of levis 511? I wear a 32 in raw 511s that are completely stretched out, could probably do a 31 though. Should I go for a 30 or 29 in PNS?

Also how accurate is context's measurements?

Thanks!

Context is pretty accurate, and as far as I know the only ones with the updated measurements. Take it with a grain of salt though; there may be some variance from pair to pair.

The PS have more of a taper past the knee compared to the 511. Slightly. They're also a low rise and your 511s are more of a mid rise. Or at least higher than the PS. If that matters to you.

Just so everybody's on the same page here, the new iterations are only an inch wider in the waist than the labeled size.

Why they took like two inches off the inseam of every model is beyond me tho.

im so confused.

the tres bien model (sune) is 6'2 (unsure of weight) and wears a size 31. (seems very skinny on him)

the need supply co model is also 6'2 but weights only 155 pounds and wears a size size 31 (seems slightly roomier)

This is for the apc petit new standard jeans.

different shaped people have different shapes. sune must have thicker legs than the other guy.

I am not too sure about that. My 28 PNS came with a 30'' waist out of the box (and PNS is the newest cut of APC)

Hmm, okay, then I give up. Just repeating what context told me. Guess things stay the same the more they change after all.

for the record, PetiteStandard.

2012/Feb bought sz30 from Needsupply.com, too tight and couldn't button 2 button.

2013/April bought sz31 from azaleasf.com, too loose and could swag down the crouch to rapper style, returned exchange for sz 30 pending.

as conclusion, apc changed their sizing.

I'm a noob to the denim world so dont be judgin'. AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FUH DAT.

Anyways, I've been wearing out my New Cures for a good year with no washes. Although, the only dilemma with my denim is that I have a crotch blowout, and it isn't getting any better. Should I beach wash it first or should I get them repaired first? This may seem like a rhetorical question but it's confusing me. Any advice will do!

Do the French shops still offer the butler trade service, I have 3 pairs of NS I want to get rid of.

What is all this talk about changed sizes, have they gone up or down.

Yes, before beach wash, rub a jelly fish on your honeycombs.

Sorry, could not resist.
