Yeah I use regular detergent to wash my jeans. I throw em in the wash about every 2 months and they have great fades.

Just got my PNS size 28 from easton trading company and the inseam is only 32''!!! They will be certainly too short for me after shrinkage. It is even final sale so I'll probabely have to sell it on the marketplace to a shorter guy. Would the inseam of a regular PS be longer?

The fit in the legs is exactly was I was looking for. Thighs that aren't super tight and they taper hard down the knees. The leg opening is so small (6.25'') that It takes a decent amount of maneuvering to pass my feet though them. I think PNS is between PS and NS in the thighs and the rise but it tapers as much as PS from the knee down (maybe even more).

The other problem with this pair is the waist. If fits they way I like them to fit AFTER they stretch. I can easily do all the buttons, so I'm guessing the waist will become too loose down the road. But if I size down to 27, they will be too tight in the legs.

What do you guys think?

That's a shame about the inseam because the fits good. If you're going to keep and worried about them blowing out do a hot soak. But yeah, those are short. Did you go tts, sd1 or?

AFAIK APCs are unisex, but if there are actually two versions, that explains the shorter inseam.

What do you guys think of the waist? If I ever a belt, would it still stretch significantly?

Sorry for a stupid sizing question, I know this thread is full of them. If I'm a size 33 in N&F Weird Guy what would that be in the Petit New Standards? I can't seem to find consistent measurements online to compare. I need roughly a 34 - 35" waist and around 12.25" in the thigh...

Not sure about the unisex thing, but the recent change to the sizing means that to get the longer inseam you need to order a larger waist size. If you were near the breakpoint (about size 30 I think) you might be out of luck, as now you need a size 31 or something to get the longer inseam.

wish they made that new change before i got my new standards last year they have a little over 33" inseam on a waist 27 i'd much prefer a 32" inseam.

The fit on those is perfect honestly. They really don't look to short and if you wash them in cold water you should be okay

So I guess I have to write off APC or find an old pair. What is the inseam on the ones you have in your signature?

Even if it shrinks 0.5'', it'd become too short.

This is the exact same problem for me too, well, not exact, I'd be in a 29, so I can always size up to the 30 and get the 33.5" inseam..hopefully. But it's a fucking shame, these would have been perfect.

anybody bought both PNS and PS? how would you compare them if I lean towards skinnier look?
According to the measurements on Context, the New Standard measurements for size 31 and 32 are identical except for the waist. I usually wear a 33 waist.

If I get a size 32, will the waist stretch out so that it's too big? I'm worried that a 31 won't stretch enough, or that I'll be uncomfortable unnecessarily. Sizing down to 31 won't change the fit because the thigh, knee and leg opening are the same as the 32. Any advice? Thanks.

This new fit is a god send. I wear a 34 in NS but the are too wide at the ankles, yet are perfect in the thighs and waist. The 34 PS fit perfect from the knee down, yet too tight in the thighs and waist. I usually end up with a moose knuckle in the front and butt cleavage in the back. When ever I bent over my daughter would make jokes and try to swipe a card in my butt crack.

The PNS is suppose to remedy this. My only gripe is the length. May cop anyway.
