Possibly an amateur question:

I have a pair of 28 NC that I really like (generally wear a 30 in other brands), and I'm looking to get some Petit Standards. Should I go with 27s to achieve a similar fit?

The difference in taper between my 29NS and 30PS is < 1cm

Hi guys. I bought a pair of the black noir APC NS size 27 trying to size down three. However, after wearing them around a bit they are still terribly uncomfortable for me. Is there anyone who wants to trade for a pair of indigo NS size 28 or 29? They have not been washed and only show signs of minor wear. I'll also throw in a pair of pre-washed nudie slim jims size 28 in addition to the APCs. PM me if you are interested. Thank you!

It kinda cracks me up how much the 'size down three' advice is fucking people over with the new cut.

Yes.  I sized down one in my NS and they're fine.

^ I think it depends on what run of jeans you happen to get then. I got a pair of NS from TBS last week. I sized down 3 (32 normally, NS 29) and they fit me fine.

They are all sold out on the website and i am size 7 and they missed out that size for some reason aswell?

when it comes to the black selvedge petit's... i should size up one from what i would in the indigo, right?

With those pictures I'd say NS, but also what is important is how you feel about yourself. If you don't like the NS then they are not a good idea becuase you will constantly second guess that decision

Yeah unfortunately those pictures make the PS look like shit on me. I actually have a PS in a 34 that I bought less than a month ago that just no longer fit me due to weight loss. I actually love the fit as it doesn't look out of proportion as these pictures make it look but unfortunately they are about 1-2 inches too big along the waist.
