Since they are made in Vietnam and I'm working in Vietnam is there anywhere or anyway possible that I can get my hands on some APCs over here?

Factory direct would be ideal.

No.

It's hard to say. When I put them on top of each other they line up pretty damn well. But my PS are 1 year old and have stretched out. The hem on the PS actually looks a tiny bit wider (less than 0.5 cm).

I don't understand how some people size down 2-3 initially and still get APCs to fit. Im usually a size 31 in jeans, tried on size 30 new cures and i couldnt even get the top 2 buttons done. I ended up going with size 31s cause they were the only ones I could squeeze into and now they seem to be stretching at the waist significantly... crap.

That's very normal, APCs stretch a lot, if you'd gotten the 30's you would have been able to button them up after a few days at most.  Chances are your 31's will stretch to the point where you need to wear a belt.

I sized down one in new cures and they're perfect to slightly tight after I washed them once.

So the PNS are basically as slim and tapered as the PS but have a higher top block? Because im thinking about ordering a new pair of PS, i originally bought 32 PS a couple of months ago but they stretched a TON since then.

Im usually a 32-33 waist, would you guys reccomend sizing down to a 30? I remember when my 32 PS came in the mail i could button all the way too the top with ease and room. (unless they changed the sizing)

damn i need some detailed information on the cut of PNS vs PS.

Problem with the PS cut imo (i still wear mine) is the hem is a bit too tapered, and the rise is fucking short

^ Agree, a PNS vs PS overview would be really helpful for a lot of us.

My problem is that PS rise is way too low, if only i could somehow get a cut that has PS skinny hem and NS higher rise..

I was hoping that the PNS would solve that but unfortunately it didn't quite work as the PNS seemed a bit too tapered and tight in the calf.

My observations on a comparison between new pairs of PNS and PS in size 30:

Waist: pretty much the same, about 16"
Front rise: 10" in either case
Back Rise: 13.5" on the PNS and 13" on the PS - so yes there is more back rise there which I found to be an improvement.
There also seemed to be a little bit more room generally in the hip area. Measuring across somewhere around the bottom of the fly level I think there may have been an extra .25" in the PNS width.
Thigh and Knee, same in either case.
Hem/Taper: Here's the thing - hem on the PNS 6.75", on the PS 7", Doesn't sound like much difference BUT, and I don't know if this was a manufacturing error or what, inside leg on the PNS was 34" but 36" in the PS os in fact that taper was even more dramatic.

I had to stick with the PS as the tightness in the calf along with shorter inseam and thus less stacking didn't appeal to me.

Of course these are only my observations and other jeans may vary. I'd be interested to see what anyone else's experience is.

yeah, this is spot-on. inseam is shorter for PNS and taper is noticeably more extreme.

I love my 30 PS, but the rise IS a bit too low for me. I solved this by sizing one more down on the NS to size 29. The taper seems to be the same through the leg, yet the rise is higer. I guess that's one way around it.
interesting, my size 29 ns measured 7.75" at the hem while the 30ps was 7".
i had the ns tapered to just over 7" which is the course i recommend to those looking for a higher rise/tapered leg.

yeah, sorry but the taper is definitely not the same for NS as it is for PS, even if you were to size down one more

So PNS have a shorter inseam and smaller hem? I might have to go with them instead. I also usually wear 32 inseam pants so the PNS would be perfect.

Now if only TBS restocks in size 30s
