A.P.C. The official thread for APC questions. - Page 728

I've been wearing my new APC NS lately and they seem like the proper fit. However, I'm concerned about this thing that's going on with the buttons. I've only worn them for about 4-5 hours total so I'm sure they havent stretched that much but the fabric is pulled too tightly and it's creating this bunched up ripple kind of effect in the areas between the buttons. It looks similar to how a buttoned up blazer might look if it's much too small. Is this something I should be concerned about or will it diminish with time and have no effect on how the jeans look later?

mine does that. its a result of being tight in that area... either like it and wear it or upsize for a looser fit....

Thanks! What would you say about the Nudie Average Joe and Hank Rey?

The Hank Rey is about a 10.6" rise, so similar to the Rescues; the Average Joe is 10.3", both taken off a 30 waist.

Mind you, depending on how you wear them, the waist size you choose, etc., the fit around that area does not always accord to the measurements.

What size are you? I have some Average Joes that have had little to no wear that I've been thinking of selling off cheap.

The Hank Rey is a slimmer fit in the legs though, that is for sure.

Probably bigger than you - I would wear a 36" (depends on stretching.. for instance for new standards i go 34-35 - i don't know if I would go 34 for the nudies. Will they stretch? I've read mixed remarks. What's your experience?)

I think mine are 32s (*maybe* 33s), but I have to check at home. They are too big on me, hence the no wear/like to sell.

I don't recall them stretching as much as the APCs, but that might be because they were never being forced to stretch since I bought too big. I can measure tonight, literally haven't worn them in a year.

It sounds like they won't stretch as much as APCs. How do you like them otherwise?

Looking great!  Like the blue on green shot too.

I don't understand how this thread can still have discussions about jeans 6 years after initial creation of the thread. the cut hasn't changed, the manufacturer hasn't changed. possibly the only thing new that's happened is they introduced the petit standard and that they've increased prices
