Hit lower to the ground ?

You can always take more off, but you can't add length back.  If you hem your dress pants to little or no break, I would definitely go 31.

Tonight I'm going to fix two issue with the NS that have been bothering me for a while:  flopping stacks at the bottom that have never formed correctly and darkness.  Going to add a cup or so of bleach to the wash then dry with a thick cylinder in each leg to form the stacks around.  We'll see how it goes!

Btw, I asked in the other thread but didn't get a response.  Can someone tell me if appropriately sized W&H straight fits have a bigger thigh than NS?  I like the ns but the thigh is still pretty tight on mine after wearing for about 6 months.

Hey I was wondering if this fit was a good fit for me? I was thinking that it was a little too skinny and was trying to get a pair of NS instead. These are a pair of 30 PS worn for around 100 days. If i were to get a pair of NS what size should i get?

Thighs will not stretch that much.  I worked on it for about two weeks with some new cures.  If sitting down is quite uncomfortable then forget it.  Looks like they are snug standing, so I'd quickly reconsider.  Also, the waist will stretch 2", so you better throw on a belt if you plan on keeping them in good shape.  I have 24" thighs and 34" NS are a good fit for me after going through a trial of NC which didn't work out due to thigh issues, however my NS waist is just a tad large now.  Don't suffer the thighs, they will only stretch out a little bit in that area - people talk and talk about apc strech, but it doesn't happen in the thigh from what I've seen after 2 weeks.  I look into the rescues or another jean if sitting is an issue for you.  Good luck.

If you have a 34 waist and get a 32, then that is actually a 33 according to vanity sizing.  It will stretch 2" giving you a 35" waist, which will be a nice jean to sit in.  You will either need to tighten your belt when standing or let them sit lower when you stand resulting in the oft mentioned 'sag'.  RE the vanity sizing tagging, a tape measure is probably the only way to check the actual size from what I've seen.

Doesn't really look that skinny to me, except at the ankle - lots of room in your left thigh there.  NS still have a relatively narrow opening compared to some boot cut jeans or 501s.  But if you want another look then go for it I guess.  Check the waist sizes here: http://www.contextclothing.com/item.php?id=6 , it can give you an idea of what size you'll need - looks like maybe a 29 in the NS would match your PS waist.

Thanks for the advice! I will now most likely be getting 29 NS. I like my petites but i would just like a little looser of a fit. Also i heard the sizing for APC's were different now? Does that affect me?
