these aren't actually denim, so the sizing is pretty different. but I'm pretty sure they are not ss12. definitely TTS, whatever you wear in chinos.

so did apc actually change sizing on the raws? about to buy some from TBS but not sure if I should go 28 or higher/lower? (size 30 in trousers).

quick question:

when trying on the APC PS in 28, i could fit 1 finger in the waist, which is enough to keep them up with out a belt.

this is about the size i would want after stretching out.

should i get a 27 then?

Purchased a pair of New Cures size 32. They ended up being too tight in the thighs for me.

So up on Ebay they go, again. :( for a pretty great price

I'm sorry if this has already been covered but I couldn't get through all of the 10,000 previous posts!  I've been breaking in a pair of New Standards for the past 3 months, but I've just decided that I'd like to get the legs narrowed a bit.  I have a size 34 and am 6' tall.  They appear a bit wide at the bottom for wearing with the nice pair of Strands I just bought.

1.  Does anyone see a problem with this?

2.  Can anyone recommend a tailor in Boston who can handle it?

Thanks!

I know that NS has a higher rise than PS. I had to return the PS cause the rise was too low for me to be comfortable. Does the NC has a rise like PS or NS? Thanks!

tapering a pair of jeans is a pretty simple alteration, any seamstress should be able to do it for you, if you trust them. Just try to be clear about what you want. I would also ask them not to cut off the excess fabric (just taper it on the selvedge line or something). Just so you could let it out again if they tapered it too much.

Hell, you could probably do it yourself if you've got a sewing machine that can handle denim.
