Ok, im mainly concerned with the top block. for example, i have w+h denim which is loose in the top block but still slim on the way down. its a size 33 slim bleach out which measures 35-36". it fits really well.

the size 31 NS that i tried on i didnt even bother buttoning up all the way cause idk if i would have even been able to it would have been a lotttt of trouble, and even without it being fully buttoned it felt tight on my ass. size 33 NS which measures 44cm = 34.5" waist would definitely fit, and would streatch to like 35.5"

34.5" seems like more than i need though, so i was thinking size 33 PS which measures just under 34" (43cm)

how do the NS and PS compare on tightness near the ass? i mean, it would only be ballcrushingly tight if i sized down, but im really not if youre reading my posts properly. im sizing up from what WAS ballcrushingly tight to what WILL hopefully fit.

Just bought a pair of APC New Standards in size 30. The waist is snug but fits fine, I have fairly small thighs and shins and the jeans look a little baggy. Should I size down? It's my first pair of raw denim so I'm wondering if they are supposed to fit like this.

How is New Cure compared to Petit Standard? And how good is Light Petit Standard?

can anyone compare the front rise of PS to levi 510s? I like the cut/taper of 510s, but I really wish they sat lower.

But at APC official site, the NC is markeds as very thight jeans and they look much skinnier than PS. Is it illusion?

OK so if you don't believe anyone, just buy them and find out for yourself?

32 NS.

For some reason, though, I have this feeling 31 would look the coolest, but definitely would be too tight. smile.gif

There's some relativism here:

To the outside world:

Size down 1 - thin
Size down 2 - skinny

To SF:

Size down 1 - plebeian
Size down 2 - thin
Size down 3 - skinny
Size down 4 - Sufu
