PS has a smaller leg opening and tapers from the knee down.

I received my PS MIJ in size 29 last week.

I'm usually a 28, but had to return it, can't move or button it, been wearing the 29 for few days, and it's already too big  rolleyes.gif

Do I have to size down? I simply can't enter in the 28.

it doesn't look like much but trust me it makes a difference.

So are you saying the NS just tapers slightly more in the thighs and that both cuts have similarly wide openings at the end?

Legs??  Too much stacking?

dont size up, that size looks right for you. maybe wear them for a while as is to see how you like the stacks, but after a few weeks perhaps you might take a couple of inches off. i think once you get to around 32" waist the leg opening is a bit wide for high level stacking.

no definintely not, im saying the taper is the same, but the petit standard is already slimmer from the tapering from the top (so its gonna be slimmer than ns, but it doesn't taper as such anymore).

Hey guys. I just bought a APC Rescue online, and I went with a size 28 since it was the smallest that they had. Incidently I always get 28 in jeans, as in, all my thin finns from nudie are that size, so are the levis (501, 510, 511, etc) that I used to wear. I want this to be my kinda baggy/ comfort pair of jeans, which I think that fits the description of the Rescue.

Will I achieve my comfort/baggy look or will it be too big to the point of being unusable? From what i´ve heart, they should be around 30´´ around the waist which should be manageable with a belt for me, and it shouldn´t stretch much since it wont be tight anywhere right?

BTW im 135 lbs and 5´8

Thanks..

if you want baggy/comfortable jeans, buy the new standard in a 27/28. a 28 in the rescue will be too big for you.

Thanks for the reply, but let me ellaborate, just to see if you really get what I mean and my actual sizes...

my true waist (above belly button) is 28''.

my jeans waist is 30'' (2 inches below belly button)

thighs are 16''

calves are 14''

This is sort of the look im going for (me wearing a levi's 557 - relaxed bootcut, 29-32)

look2.jpglook3.jpg

Id also be fine with either one of the looks below from people who posted pics of themselves wearing APC rescue:

look4.jpg

Are you sure I cant achieve either of those 3 looks with a rescue, and must absolutely go for a NS?

Thanks again...

Hey guys,

Does APC normally drop white pairs in the summer time cause I am in the market for some white denim. I would love to have some white new standards.

it seems that 32 would be tight but still uncomfortable, but that 33 would be best. not sure thooo

I had tried to respond to this earlier from my phone and failed. Anyways - Stick with the 32 and deal with it for a few days, it will get better.  33 will be too big after they stretch out.  32 will become comfortable.  31, I'm with you, was just too tight to bear.
