Hey friends, so APC jeans used to be made in Macau but now recent pairs are made seem to be made in Vietnam. Is there a quality difference between these two origins?

So after struggling with inseam imprints on my inner thighs (Jeans wayyyy too tight in the thigh) I decided to size up and I think it was worth it

Anyone have info on the 33" PNS back rise measurements? I can get a rough idea of the back rise if you have 32 or 34" measurements as well

Hey, luckily I have the PNS in size 33. I measured the back rise and it sits at 13 inches, pretty low imo.

Now curious, are all your rear rises also around 13 inches? I'm not used to 13 inches as my other jeans have like 14. with 13 I feel like I'm showing some ass whenever I sit because the jeans sit lower than the waist

How many different APC jeans are there? I am having trouble picking one.

From their website, I see

new standard

new cure

petit standard

petit new standard

How are the petit jeans different than the non-petit jeans? asking the obvious, are they smaller?

From what I know,

New Cure: Skinniest jean from APC

New Standard: Slim jean, roomy in thighs
Petit Standard: Skinny jean
Petit New Standard: Top block is New Standard and tapers down like Petit Standard

What is the weight of APC jeans (in oz)? (Are they all the same weight?)

and what is the weight of a typical mall store/department store jeans(like Levi's 501,511, or jeans from GAP, etc)?

If you`re referring to the four styles you listed and implying them in the Raw finish, then they are all 14.5 oz. I've owned many pairs of Levi's in the past (501, 508, 511) and they've ranged from 11 to 12 oz depending on fabric and elastic used.

yeah, super low. was kind of turned off about that since i feel like i might be showing crack when i sit and stuff. i have a pair of old nudies thin finn and it has a front rise of 9 and back of like 15, which is cool for me since it doesnt feel as restricted when i sit down. found a steal for the PNS raws so i jumped on it anyway, will see how i feel about it after i break em in

Any raw denim brands that have 11 to 12 oz weight denim? I don't like the feel of thicker jeans.

tons out there. I know some of the more popular brands like nudies offer a lot of denim in 11-12 oz, just check their websites out. N&F also offers a few "lightweight" oz within your range
