well if you're going to the store, try on all cuts, including the petite standard, new cure h, and even new cure f, in all sorts of sizes, and see what you like best.

they feel right. the thighs/hips are super tight and i have to ******* gut in to get the waist buttoned. if it drops an inch and a half or so it'll be where i want it. does the seat stretch that much? the lower leg is fine w/ me.

I will try them, but does the cuff circumference stretch as well? I dont want it to be to wide.

I also like the jeans to be tighter (but not skin tight) in the bottom (no boot cut and even straight cut). What should I go with? NS or PS?

I usually wear 34 but that changes with brands.

Will the NS be too loose in the bottom?

Thanks

You're going to to the store... why don't you try them on and see what you like better?

Waist is going to stretch to be too big, that's unavoidable. But if the thighs are super tight right now they will stretch to be comfortably slim. The seat is really annoying on APC's, it's almost impossible to get them just right thanks to a befuddling pocket design... it's not the stretch in the seat that contributes to the diaper ass it's the mother slanted pockets that drape funny.

I'd go with the PS if I were you. I own both the NS and PS in size 27, and the PS sounds like what you're going for. It's not too tight in the waist and thigh, and tapers nicely in the lower leg.

Actually, slight yes, but I'm not sure if it's a product of actual pocket placement or the lower rise. My PS's dont' appear to be eating my asshole like my new cures did.

What's your true waist size/ how many did you size down? I have a 27 - true waist 30 and they are driving me crazy in the knees stretching out...I think I may have sized down too far. Thanks.

the cuff wont stretch. it only stretches where there's pressure on them, so anywhere from 2" to 4" on the waist, about an inch in the thighs and hips area. if the calfs are really tight they may loosen up a bit, but dont expect them to be loose.

my new standards were snug on my calfs when i got them and they still fit pretty much the same as new below the knee (apart from the denim loosening up and getting a bit softer).

dude nothing's wrong with your ns fit. in fact, i would even have to say that how you're wearing them is the classic ns fit/silhouette. i mean, of course, you could still size down or up (i know some people who get them a size bigger than their actual waist size), but if you wanna wear them the way theyre meant to be worn then you're aight. you might even end up loving them (for their "versatility") more than your artisanal denim.
