Bargains for Big Guys: Reprise - Page 3

Those that desire 48L and size 13 shoes should make their desires known -- I'm sure someone here will keep an eye out (I know I've seen lots of great deals on size 13 shoes in my day).

48L Brioni casual jacket. 24in sleeves. I was going to snipe this tonight but I've changed my mind.

If there are any 48L's (and maybe 46L also) that would possibly be interested in a NWT grey with red/navy windowpane suit from Alfred Dunhill (Zegna made in Italy), for about $275, drop me a line.

I might be able to get three 50L Brooks Brothers Brooksease 3/2 suits in grey, navy and grey pinstripe (one each). I don't have exact measurements. If you're interested price would be around $65/delivered. PM me and I'll see what I can do.

I also have two Brooks sportcoats in 46L and 46XL for sale that I would love to move.

Clearly I fall out of the typical SF'rs size range. 49 chest, 37 waist (thank you college wrestling and boxing) with a 18 inch neck. Depending on the cut I'm usually a 46R or 48R with lots of waist suppression.

I'm in the San Francisco area, so the clothiers typically have the sizes.

Hi there,
this is my first ever post on style forum, although I have been benefitting from this vast resource of knowledge, information and opinion for the past couple of years. Thank you!

I was moved to become a member and post my first thread after perusing the "bargains for big guys" thread because, in my experience, that's a complete oxymoron; there are no bargains! Specialist shops and tailors are like undertakers...they don't have sales, 'cos they know that you don't really have much choice! Furthermore, I find that big & tall stores don't really cater for my build. Things that fit my upper body flap like an a-line skirt around my torso, so I end up paying a premium at the store, and then again to get them altered. Frustrating (and expensive!) to say the least.

However, Bmulford's dimensions revealed, at last, that I am not alone when it comes to an unusual physique (Bmulford, if you're still a member, I'll pm you shortly...) My measurements are as follows:

6'9"
225-230lbs
46"chest
35"waist
38" inside leg
shoes US16D
If anyone has stylish garments (sports jackets, suits, or shoes) in these sizes that need a new home in London, then please don't hesitate to drop me a line. Many thanks, guys. All the best.
