WTF over-zealous police? - Page 325

Witnesses should exercise more caution in calling in reports. When cops here "Man with Gun," their brains shift into another mode. More adrenaline, more "action joe" posing, more drama, more excitement. I think* he had his finger on the trigger, had not been to the range in months, and probably pulled the trigger accidentally when turning to look or when changing position.

Accidental; second degree negligent legocide

*to wildly speculate based on deductive reasoning based on assumed facts

No, the person pulling the trigger has ultimate responsibility, regardless of what witnesses said. Cops need to be held to a higher standard or we'll keep getting more of the same.

And for fuck's sake, keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire is like rule 3. If this fucking braindead shitfuck can't keep those rules in his head then he deserves to be put in a sanitarium for the terminally fucking stupid.

Florida cop who shot unarmed therapist was aiming for his autistic patient — who was holding a toy truck

Here you go, story is coming together. The cop thought that the man with the truck was threatening the black man.

And what the heck is more threatening than an autistic man with a toy truck?

Sort of a twist on the familiar story where the officer claims he had to shoot the motorist because he was afraid the motorist was going to attack him with his car?

If true, the fact that the cop was trying to shoot an autistic guy playing with a toy truck makes everything about this story world's better. rolleyes.gif

http://www.lfpress.com/2016/07/21/appeal-court-overturns-drug-conviction

Man stripped search in a non-private area, video made of the strip search, then handcuffed to cell bars for approximately 24 hours to force him to defecate in a bed pan, also known by police to be an addict so they let him start withdrawals in hopes of compliance. Also taped oven mitts to his hands so he could not remove drugs from his rectum with his hands. The "bed pan vigil" lasted over 30 hours.

After five years in jail case was tossed for several rights violations.

Now I feel safe because I typically don't play with toy trucks.

Of course it's not true, but it's the best story his union rep could come up with on short notice.

Police in Wynnewood, Oklahoma arrived at the home of the Malones with a warrant for someone who had lived at the rental residence 10 years earlier, according to local TV station Fox 25.

While there, an unidentified police officer took what Fox 25 described as a high-powered rifle from his vehicle and shot Opie, described as a bulldog/pitbull mix, multiple times, including at least twice in front of children who were having a birthday party, according to Vicki Malone, the mother. Police insist the dog came around the house to menace police, but Fox 25 reports it obtained video that showed the dog lying on the ground with a bullet wound in its head near the fence, not near the house as police insisted.

The police chief also admitted to Fox 25 that they knew the Malones were the most recent residents and that a number of people had moved in and out of the house. But, said Ken Moore, police "had to start somewhere," and the warrant gave them the authority to enter the Malone property without their permission.

These people should not be allowed access to firearms.

He probably originally meant to aim the gun at the autistic guy until his natural instincts as a cop to shoot at black people kicked in.
