When I said he got "smoked" I meant Lemon had his little trap all planned and the sheriff did not play ball, in fact, jammed the ball down Lemon's throat. When an interviewer cuts to commercial like that it means they just had their ass handed to them quite often and this was one of those cases. Lemon obviously wanted to make the sheriff look like a jack-ass as he was there to address the RNC convention.
Also, when you quote someone (me in this case) like that the bolded is assumed, otherwise why quote me?
I would've thought the trap was exactly to provoke him by reading that statement from BLM in the beginning, and he got even angrier than expected.
