WTF over-zealous police? - Page 212

I worked as a security guard at a gated community in college. The standing order was always "open up for the cops".

Although in Piob's case, I believe he indicated his community doesn't have security guards, so it probably doesn't have a gate at the front either. It's just a private community, not a gated one.

Yeah, get that, and it goes to the heart of my (unimportant) question. Are these guys (the guards) directly violating their instructions from the HOA to let their cop buddies in? Or are the gates automated, in which case it's not surprising that cops and other potential emergency responders would be coded for access?

I'm guessing its a compound, although I don't see Piob with a chimp or ferris wheels.

Maybe a vineyard and some peacocks.

Cops have the highest obesity percentage of any profession, and it's obviously not restrained to the desk jockeys.

No guards, a gate with RFID and also a keypad.

I don't want to get too detailed but our place is five miles up at the end of a non-through road. Keep in mind there's no through traffic and the fucking cops sit just outside our gate up the road a bit (and it's only about 80 houses) at 5am when it's pitch dark (so you can't see them) just to see if they can catch someone rolling the stop sign when exiting the development. Our development is all of about 80 houses and it's really, really quiet and boring up at our place...part of why I bought there. Busy body pricks just like to camp out and follow people in when not writing bullshit tickets.

Sounds like you need some real crimes around there. Let me know how I can help.

You need to get the DOJ to investigate this miscarriage of justice.

Would you look at that, a border patrol agent murders a Mexican teen across the border and is actually being indicted.

If we had a wall instead of that puny fence, he wouldn't have had to worry about rocks. satisfied.gif

The outright thuggery from police unions have done more to turn me against unions than anything else. Now if only all those anti-union Conservatives would turn against police unions also, which of course, they won't. Spineless scum, the lot of them.
