Those are real police? Pasty doughboy who got slapped looks straight out of mall cop central casting. I think he's wearing boat shoes.

Could be true. Cops are the dumbest mothefuckers in the public sector.

Former Federal Security Official Pleads Guilty to Attempting to Make Meth After Explosion in Government Facility

A former federal security official accused of making methamphetamine inside a highly secured government research facility and causing an explosion pleaded guilty Friday.
Christopher Bartley, a police lieutenant for the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST), reported to work July 18 and that evening went into a room where he could make meth under a chemical fume hood, according to his plea agreement. The explosion he caused about 7:30 p.m. blew four shatterproof windows out of their frames, sending them 22-33 feet from the building.
Bartley suffered burns on his arms and singed eyebrows and hair, according to the U.S. attorney.

His excuse is awesome, apparently he claims to have been conducting an "unauthorized training exercise to better understand the criminal mind." Dumb motherfucker. I don't really get the point of some obvious bullshit story like that, since he's pleading guilty. Maybe fishing for a reduced sentence.

There's been a Congressional inquiry into it, asking what could have been done to avoid it. The cop are outside the supervisory chain at NIST, and it's literally their job to prevent this sort of shit. How is any of the science staff supposed to be monitoring the cops? Who watches the watchmen, etc, etc.

This is a great one. Deputy punches eight months pregnant woman multiple times and jams her stomach first so hard her abdomen is pretty badly bruised. Investigation of course finds no wrong doing and the puncher says the woman was reaching for his gun.

Watch the video and see if you think she was positioned to make it even physically possible she was reaching for his gun. The best parts are a) the cops were there to serve a child custody warrant and that now the officer is cleared the sheriff plans to file more charges against the accuser.

"They were reaching for my gun" seems to be the carte blanche excuse of the day for cops.

Don't forget repeatedly yelling, "STOP RESISTING!" when they're fucking unconscious, face down, with three hambeasts kneeling on them and they're cuffed.

Maybe it was the fetus that was resisting.

EXCLUSIVE: James Blake, former tennis star, slammed to ground and handcuffed outside midtown hotel by white NYPD cops who mistook him for ID theft suspect

Blake said he had just answered a few questions from a writer for a tennis magazine and was texting when he looked up and saw someone in shorts and a T-shirt charging at him, splitting the doorman outside the Hyatt, an official hotel for the U.S. Tennis Association.

"Maybe I'm naïve, but I just assumed it was someone I went to high school with or something who was running at me to give me a big hug, so I smiled at the guy," Blake said. Blake said the officer, who he said was not wearing a badge, picked him up and threw him down on the sidewalk, yelled at him to roll over on his face and said, "Don't say a word."

Blake said he responded, "I'm going to do whatever you say. I'm going to cooperate. But do you mind if I ask what this is all about?"

An officer said, "We'll tell you. You are in safe hands."

Said Blake, "I didn't feel very safe."

Blake said several other officers rushed up to join the first officer, eventually five cops in all surrounding him. He said he was told he had been identified by two people as someone who had been involved in an identity-theft ring operating in the area for the last week.

Blake arrived in the city early Wednesday morning, taking the redeye form his home in San Diego, where he lives with his wife and young children. He told the cops to look at his license, in his left front pocket, and his Open credential, in his back pocket.

After being handcuffed for about 15 minutes, Blake said the last of the five officers realized they had the wrong person and apologized. The first officer who tackled and cuffed him never said anything.

Solid work, NYPD.
