I don't do PI cases, I am not an accountant.

Police were responding to a call in June that a dog had bitten a woman. The dog, a 7-year-old Chinese shar-pei breed named Nala, had went missing from her home earlier that morning. Once on scene, officers restrained Nala using a customary long-pole noose around her neck, officials said.

Sandy Fleischer, the woman bitten by the dog had been attempting to retrieve the animal for its owner after seeing “missing” posts on a community facebook page.

“The dog was more scared of not knowing where it was and being thirsty and disoriented. The dog bit me out of fear because I tried to touch it, which was my fault,” Fleischer said. She sustained a small, inconsequential puncture wound to her hand, officials said.

Fleischer, who did not see the actual killing of the animal, did say that Nala was NOT being aggressive. “You could hear the dog screaming and crying in pain,” Fleischer said. “I did see one officer that had been extremely aggressive that did have his knee into her chest that was tightening the noose. It seemed (they were doing it) relentlessly and unnecessarily.”

Shortly afterward, Officer Jeffrey Bolger cut Nala’s throat with a knife, even though she was contained, police spokesman Eric Kowalczy said at the time.

“It was a complete violation of protocol,” Kowalczy said. “It’s not often police speak out against one of their own, but we are all truly appalled.”

Just before they got to the scene, Bolger was overheard saying, “I’m going to gut this f***ing thing,” according to charging documents.

Happy Friday, everybody.

The dog should have complied with the lawful commands the officer was issuing. Being unable to understand is no excuse.

As long as the officer got home safe at the end of his shift.

Dog was a known thug. Case closed, no need for further investigation.

Shame on you people for valuing the life of a dog over the possibility of an officer...hell, the dog was in a long pole noose. What did it do? Look at him funny? We all know cops don't like to be looked at funny.

Hey, officers have a tough job. He was probably stressed. There are three quarters of a million cops out there dealing with shithead dogs like this every day, and this one got pissed off and slit the dog's throat. It's a petty thing to complain about, really.

Simple compliance is not acceptable, you must comply fast or else you will lose your teeth.

A similar case: http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2015/05/08/police-release-dashcam-video-of-delaware-officer-kicking-suspect-in-the-face/

The victim was allegedly involved in a fight, but when confronted by police raised his hands and offers no resistance. The cop attempted to Cobra Kai sweep the leg, failed, then when the subject got down on all fours in an attempt to lay fully prone, the cop kicked him in the head, breaking his jaw and knocking him unconscious.

Video at the link.

LOLZ. I love how the cop turned the car around at the end so the dash cam wouldn't capture anything going on afterwards. Brilliant.

I also like how they charged the victim with resisting arrest. Apparently not being taken down by that vicious thug cop's inept kick to the back of the legs constitutes resisting.

You can be the Ben Crump of The War on Asian Males

WAMFalcon

Harv., I said this last month but it's an idea whose time has come. No one can deny that the Grievance Industry has grown along racial lines. There is a huge need for a White hustler, I mean Attorney, who is ready to take on the evil and corrupt Police Departments nationwide.

You can start out as a WAMFoo foo.gif fighter, and develop into a true White Ben Crump ( for lack of a better name ).

Crump probably gets many of the prime Black victim Police Brutality PI cases, and makes a fortune. There is a huge need for a "White Ben Crump" who is the go to Lawyer when there is a Police brutality case with a non-black victim. Given your feelings toward the police Harv, and your numerous comments on many cases, I think you would be an ideal "White Ben Crump".

Wait, we already have Gloria Allred, but she is an unlikeable POS, and she has pretty much hitched her wagon to a Feminist gravy train.

Think about it Harv!. It's a dream job with huge money, press conferences, TV appearances and 24/7 recognition. Do it for SF, do it for your Mom, do it for yourself.

The nation awaits your first case and press conference.

Sorry, I'm not the hero you want or need. I'm a simple functional alcoholic who is surprisingly competent at his job and enjoys making midgets cry.

This is just like old times. This is the New York the rest of America knew and loved in 1979.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are investigating two violent muggings that happened in Central Park, one of which involved what was described as a gang of more than a dozen teenagers.

As CBS2’s Hazel Sanchez reported Sunday, the first attack happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Herkshire Playground near the southern end of Central Park.

Police said a group of about 15 teens attacked a man and woman sitting in the playground.

The attackers threatened the pair with a knife and Taser, Sanchez reported. One of the attackers also chased the male victim with the knife, but did not injure him. Another one of the attackers punched the 17-year-old woman in the face before taking off with both of the victims’ cell phones and the woman’s wallet.

The second attack happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday as a 45-year-old Bronx man was walking along the 81st Street transverse. That suspect tried to choke the man before running off with his wallet, Sanchez reported.

Parkgoers on Sunday were uneasy after learning about the attacks.

“I’m totally shocked! I mean, any place, but especially here. I am really shocked,” said Upper West Side resident Gun Bauchmer.

“In Central Park, a place like this? You don’t think that can happen, you know,” said Rachel Mitskaris, of Riverdale. “It’s scary. I’m feeling like I have to watch my stuff right now, you know?”
