WTF over-zealous police? - Page 105

They're nice when you've got 'em, but when all you've got is a regular flat head that hole in the middle of the screw sucks.

Maybe you saw video I didn't but I did not see him try and stab anyone. Just the fact the cop continued to tell him to drop it after he was obviously dead or dying, and completely physically incapacitated, goes to the cop's state of mind for me.

I used the term "slight noncompliance" as I think they didn't give the poor dumb fool time enough to comply. It went from "drop the screw driver" to him choking to death on his own blood from multiple bullet wounds at a pretty fast clip. The reports state these cops were skilled in dealing with the mentally ill so that makes this shooting even more egregious after watching this video. Anyone that has any CIT (Crisis Intervention Training, a program specifically developed to deal with mentally ill people for police, care givers, etc.) would know these guys went about handling him exactly wrong.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here ever worked in law enforcement?

Describe one of your work days to me, if you don't mind.

He drinks martinis and makes rape victims cry.

Edit: That is not limited to work days.

You don't see him lunging out the doorway right at the cop, right before he's shot?

A wise man said that people would view this video and see completely different things.

Well it's about half and half whether I'm representing child pornographers or cheating spouses. On the kiddie porn days I go to court and try to convince someone that my client who voraciously views little kids being fucked in the ass isn't such a bad guy. On the cheating spouse days I go to court and try to convince someone that my client who spread his seed all over town isn't such a bad guy and shouldn't have to give up more than 50% of his retirement.

So you think I'm left wing?

No, there is a "Wing-Spectrum" and you're probably slight Right-Center, a skillful Bill Clinton of the Wing.

I think you were left of center in the Mike Brown incident and in this incident. But you are right of center on Medical issues and generally on economic issues.

If you can get yourself to Iowa for the primaries, you can put your excellent debating skills to work. I don't know if you are a Dem or GOP, but with Hillary cratering, I think you would have a shot at either nomination. You would have my vote and the first $10 into your PAC.

Before you laugh or respond, think! Barack Obama had as much of a chance 18 months prior to the 2008 primaries as you do now. And I say seriously and honestly, I believe you to be better qualified than BO is/was.

Oh wait, you are a Canadian. Do you have one US native born parent? Maybe we can get you in the back door like Ted Cruz.

It's nice to know that even fake cops (the Virginia ABC, that is, Alcohol Beverage Control) can bloody minorities just like real cops.
