I haven't been on here for a while. I saw this question before, but instead of an answer, the poster got called names for asking.
Here is my query. A travelling custom suit salesman comes to my area - not a visiting Thai tailor (bought a couple of those, and not worth the money.) He is semi local, but the suits are made in America, I think. He makes very nice suits with all of the touches I like- surgeon's cuffs, cuff protectors and the like. However, even with great fabric they don't cost as much as some of the fancy name suits I see at chain stores or even small clothing shops. Is there some reason I am better off to buy a fancy name brand instead of getting a nice suit custom made for me?
Sorry if this a noob question- I am admittedly a philistine when it comes to nice clothing, but getting better.
