Still absolutely stunning shoes, and a nice shine as well! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Thanks! I should clarify this is with just the cream polish, two applications. I probably wont find too many reasons to put a high shine to my shoes.

They're not after any rugged wear, they're after 3 wears (shoes are new, never had a drop of polish on them). I'm happy with it so far and will be ordering more when I'm out.

I can see it made it a little darker, just one shade. Glen made sure I knew that would happen before he sent my order out, which I appreciate greatly.

Before

After

Also, it makes the room smell like oranges, which I'm not against.

Thanks so much for posting the pictures, the shoes look great.

I don't think that would be fair to the people that made the deadline. I will however offer free shipping (first class mail) CONUS to any orders over 3 jars.

I would like to thank all the members that have given me encouragement in my endeavor. And, I would like to especially thank the members that supported my endeavor by purchasing some polish.

In order to keep the momentum going I am going to offer a couple of benefits to forum members during the month of March:

I will pay for any shipping costs over $4 on any size order shipped CONUS by first class mail, AND I will throw in an extra bottle of polish (cream, high shine, or cleaner/conditioner) for any orders of 3 items or more. That is basically a 20% discount on the polish, and a discount on the shipping. It cuts the margins a little thin, but I really believe in this polish.

This is a great opportunity to try some for yourself, and support a company (and fellow member) in it's initial stages.

You can use the shopping cart at www.glenkarencare.com to order if you like, just be sure to let me know, by PM on this forum, which product you want for your free jar, when you order 3 items or more.

If you are a member that purchased some polish in February please contact me before your next order, so I can show my appreciated in a tangible way.

Thanks again to everyone for your support.

I bought some two weeks ago, and can attest to the quality of the product and the customer service.  I wish you all the best Glen, and when I run out of the high shine, I'll be sure to put in another order!

I have decided to expand the color choices in the GlenKaren shoe polish line:

Currently, the polish colors I have to offer are:

Black, Dark Brown, Brown (menium), and Light Brown.

This week I plan to add:

Burgundy:

Walnut:

and Navy Blue:

If you would like to see any other colors added to the line please let me know.

I applied some of the dark brown polish to a pair of Rancourt #8 shell beefroll loafers over the weekend. Also used some of the cleaner conditioner on some Chromexcel boots in place of my normal Montana Pitch Blend (which I also like because it is a very gentle product). Very pleased with my initial efforts. I'm going to be interested to see how polish serves to fill in nicks and scratches, when I get the chance.

And I like the new colors. Will likely need some of the burgundy.

The new colors are now available through the www.GlenKarenCare.com web site, however the blue pigment did darken a little when added to the polish mix.

I think the blue ended up being closer to a true Navy Blue.

Also remember, if you order through the GlenKarenCare website, you need to let me know (email or PM) that you are a member of this forum if you want to take advantage of the 4 for the price of 3 offer through the end of this month.

You can also just place an order directly with me here with a PM.

I am considering adding a paste line of polish in the same colors as the cream line I currently have, but I'm not sure if there would be enough interest in a paste line. I would appreciate any feedback on the idea.

For those unaware of the differences, this entry on glenjay's blog is helpful.

Just a reminder that this is the last week for the "4 for the price of 3" promotion. I would hate to see anyone miss out on this offer.
