I wanted to provide an overview of all of the Raw Denim options I was aware of that are made in the USA. Some of the links are to my Brother's and my blog, others are to the individual companies websites. I don't have experience with all the denim, and I am sure I don't know all the brands- So any you can add to this list would be awesome.

John Elliott & Co. is a new all American brand - Perfect fit. I have the "Cast" in obsidian raw selvedge and they are an amazing black raw denim.

All made in downtown LA. They also have some really nice sweats with riri zippers.

disclaimer: these are my friends, but I wouldn't rep here if their stuff wasn't amazing. If you are in LA American Rag is carrying them.

Edit: priced 225-320 - all the raw stuff is less.

You should tell them to put measurement charts up on their website for their products. Tanks look to be a good option for summertime lounging.

Measurements are coming. Send them a message and they might be able to help you out.

In general I wear a small and take a medium in their tees - I also sized down to a 29 in the cast obsidian from my true 30 waist. Also took a medium in the Villain side zip pullover where I might normally take a small in other brands. That's all I can chime in for now.

I'd maybe take something from here: http://www.johnelliott.co/about/

All I know is the denim fabric is sourced in Japan but totally constructed in downtown LA. All-American made clothing, obviously some of the components such as the denim and riri zippers (Switzerland) are sourced from Japan.

From what I understand they've been mentored by some pretty great denim experts. They've got a nice short editorial here: http://slamxhype.com/style/john-elliott-co-solace-springsummer-2013-editorial/

Company is literally brand new (hence no measurements) and I think you'll be seeing more of them around here.

What about 3sixteen?
They've been a making raw denim jeans in the US longer than any of the companies listed. (and yes, some of their jeans are even made of US made denim)

Wow, that must be the most realistic pair of predistressed jeans I've seen.
