How to wear Wolverine 1000 boots in the Spring?

Hi all,

 

I picked up a pair of brown Wolverine 1000 boots a few weeks ago and am really enjoying them.  My question is whether or not these boots can be worn with Spring appropriate clothing or if it's more of a fall/winter piece of footwear.  If it can be worn in the spring, how would I go about coordinating it?

I'm wearing my GTs almost all year long. Exception: vacation in Florida, it'll be really dumb to wear heavy boots to the beach satisfied.gif

I combine the boots the same way like I do in fall, winter: jeans. I don't have any other pants, except shorts (again, reserved for vacation).

Thanks for the reply.  What kind of shirt would you match it with?  I'm under the impression that lighter weight fabrics would look slightly off with the boot.

i wear whatever seems to be appropriate with the temperature. Tshirts, button-downs, plaid. I recently developed an affinity to white shirts with tweed vests, combined with rough selvage and boots (GTs, Indys). I like this vintage look, sometimes I wear a Stetson newsboy cap with that, but this might be a bit too much... anyway, seems like I watched too much "Boardwalk Empire" lately. The guys in this show are sporting a look I'm really diggin'.

These boots are not that warm so they can be easily worn in spring with a nice pair of jeans.

Boots, denim, and a plaid button down. Super easy look.

I wouldn't be sporting this when it's 100 degree's out .. but anything in the 70's forsure.

I think you can do chinos and madras. Some poplin shirts would work. And don't forget chambray.
