Maybe it happened to her when she was that age? Because that's a pretty crazy thing to say.

Presumably she made a new friend in the time-gap between seasons (don't remember when the last one left off...were we gone a full year almost?)

^ bad writing

Some girl shows up out of nowhere that's living in their house and they don't put it in context?

It was briefly mentioned that she was living there only for the holidays. Additional background on her probably wasn't too necessary since it looks like she won't be on the show again.

It was mentioned that her mother very recently passed away which is why she was there. We don't see Sally at school so its not unreasonable that she has friends and that she might become closer to a friend who just experienced a traumatic event.

It also wasn't mentioned that Megan went from Don getting her a place in some commercial to having a part in a Soap until she has fans coming up to her at dinner...are you bothered that they didn't explain that either?

It was a 9-month gap...things have happened and most of them we are able to parse out by the end of the episode.

this thread is a great example of the rampant closet cases running around the forum, as well as a total lack of appreciation for nuance. bravo.

Roger joking around at his mother's funereal then breaking down at the death of the shoe shine boy is hardly nuanced. It's hackneyed writing at it's best. Or worst.

That was a painfully awkward episode.

^i dunno, i think it was a bit heavy handed but a frequent irl delayed reaction to an event. sometimes you just cannot feel when you are in the moment.

I liked the scene when Roger got the news and had to comfort his secretary.

The ear talk between Peggy and her new coworkers was funny because I've worked with idiots like that before.

I felt sad for Roger when his daughter walked away and left the jar of water.

I'll be the first to say it. I enjoyed Betty's scenes.

Henry is too aloof. His character is so bland. Its like they just put a husk of a character there for Better to speak at.

Hmmm. This post is an example of trying too hard in a dating site profile kind of way. Say something real next time.

- "She's in the next room. Why don't you rape her? I'll hold her arms down."
- "Betty, what the hell?"

Here you are.

A little tight, but he is HUNCHED over...so I'd give it the benefit of the doubt that it fits fine normally:

Fit looks fine to me. Slanted pockets though... ughh.
